Having recently worked with Silex to deliver a large and critical UK project, I've nothing but good things to say about the staff who were all extraordinarily helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Without doubt had Silex not been able to react so quick to the demands of the end user, the project would have simply failed.The response from acknowledging the enquiry through to quotation and then subsequent revision based on the end user demand was exceptional, as were the daily updates I received on the production planning and dispatch, all paperwork was as to be expected as was the quality of the end product received. Will be looking forward to working closely with Silex on many more projects to come, and I would definitely recommend them to other prospective customers.

Avoid - we recommend Delta Rubbers.I've never come across a company more difficult thank Silex. Staff respond to emails - occasionally and can't be contacted on the phone.Phone calls are not returned, every request is too much work or too much hassle and response times are POOR.We will never be using this company again.

Poor sales team and customer support . Made me pay for samples even after a request of high volume , and created so much trouble in shipment that I had to pay 200 GBP for the trouble caused on just 60GBP order. I had to shed that from my pocket and not even a remote regret from them .

super efficient ordering process with Silex today. Great customer service, knowledgeable friendly staff, good price, what's not to like. Can't recommend these guys highly enough

This is the second time I have ordered with Silex for some material. The first time I ordered they didn't even realise I had made an order and I had to call in 3 days later before the material was finally shipped out. This was the second time and perhaps last now as I ordered again thinking the same thing wouldn't happen. I ordered on a Friday and was told that on Monday the following week it would be shipped out and delivered on Tuesday. I then called on the Monday and was told it was shipped out. Tuesday comes and the Casters that needed the material did not receive the material. I called in again and was told it was only being shipped out that day. Why was I told it had been shipped out on Monday? This has majorly delayed our plans.

Working with this company it's like a nightmare!

Very bad experience with this company. I had custom tooling made by Silex and was given a four week lead-time for 100 items to be made from the mould. This was small order, but it was based on their pricing breaks and our third in twelve months for product from this mould. All paid for on a Pro-forma invoice basis. Six weeks later, after chasing the order, was told production had not started and could not start for another week. I understand that the lead-time given was approximate – but at what margin of error?! No communication from this company or a notification of delay in production. Customer service was very poor, emails went unanswered. I do not want to give them even 1 star. I have since cancelled the order, requested a refund.

Ordered my silicone tube on their website, paid via sagepay, The only gripe is that I didn't get a order confirmation straight away. I emailed them next day and they emailed my confirmation within the day. My order arrived 3 days after my order online by DHL. So overall I'm pleased. The tube was perfect quality for my requirements.

I had a requirement for some silicone tubing, a couple of emails and they knew exactly what was that I required. Pro-forma was sent very quickly and the goods delivered next day with a 1 hour delivery window nofitication, exactly what I needed. Well done fantastic company very helpful indeed. I will be back for more soon.
