We have dined at The Carriage for a few years now and food always excellent. Home made chips are delicious and vegetables perfectly cooked. Waitress pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.

Small place but good food. They also do take away so if you don't want to sit in, you can just order take away. I recommend to go eating early as a lot of local people eat early and you might not find some of their daily special anymore.

The staff are lovely and helpful nothing is to much trouble, the food is all good homemade and fresh it's all good wholesome fayre. The prices are very reasonable and you get plenty of food on your plate. All I can say is it is well worth a visit

The most friendly servers so polite and friendly We just had the best Steak Pie with suet pastry on top. Just about to tuck into Treacle Pudding and custard. Would recommend to anyone who is visiting the area

Food is beautiful always freshly cooked . A proper little gem of a restaurant staff are really warm friendly and welcoming. Really great food at fair prices .
