Yesterday (30/05/2023) at the Giri Bapu Shiv Katha, my mother attended the bhajan to which I dropped her off early at the front of the mandir due to her disability. As I went to park the car and she carefully made her way in with my masi, a worker of yours (Female) discriminated her for sitting on the disabled chairs stating, 'this isn't for you only disabled people' My mum tried to explain she is disabled and has a walking stick for support but your colleague was having none of it!. Your colleague then changed her statement and said this is for elderly people and made my mum sit somewhere else! I am utterly shocked by this behaviour especially in a mandir that is meant to accept all people in its warm arms!!! A few other people with walking sticks had come and sat down on the disable chairs and called my mum forward to sit with them as their were seats free. So my mum got the courage to get up not wanting any confrontation to ruin the day but when she had sat down the same lady came up to her. She stated, 'Why have you sat down here again (with attitude and an angry voice). This is for elderly and disabled people' My mum tried to explain to her she was disabled but was having none of it!!!! The other ladies sitting down frowned upon your worker and could not believe her attitude and sheer disrespect for her disability. This angered my mum and she said do you want me to prove to you my disability? and the women wasn't having none of it.I cannot believe for a mandir, you have utter disrespect for people coming in to worship and will not even try to listen or understand. This encounter has ruined her trust in the temple and some action needs to be take about this. I am not happy that my mum had to go through this!! It goes against her right to be treated equally and her disability and I will take this further until it is addressed!!Utter shame for a mandir and people working in there to be helpful and supportive for a place of worship. Where was the understanding? Where does it say for you to be disabled you need to be elderly? A disability can be from any age!!!I want an answer to what had happened and why. I want your colleague to give my mother an apology as this attitude is not on. I also want to know what you will do going forward so no-one else goes through this experience!!Absolutely stunned by your colleagues behaviour!!

The venue has two halls. One where the temple is and another one at the back for any special functions. The temple not only has the normal day to day activities but they cater for special pledges that families may have like Havan, Bhajans providing meals to people. Which cannot be done adequately at home. They are good at taking your project and helping it to fruition. Taking on the burden with their volunteers. The food is freshly cooked on the premises and it has always been very good. The main problem with this venue is communication. There is a total lack. The phone is rarely Answered as no one is in the office and unless you have the main person’s mobile number(Mayurbhai) then it can be very frustrating. There has been times where they have booked two groups of Bhajans in the same hall! Now how can this be feasible. Total lack of understanding. They need someone who can look into their shortcomings and improve on it.

They need to sort their priests out. The mid aged priest is so arrogant and rude. No self respect whatsoever.

They never answer the phone even though they state on the website the time the office is open. It's quite expensive to book the hall for functions. They don't have hourly rate. Well above for a family with normal wages. The halls are quite a good size. Food is cooked on site and is very good.

Nice temple. They have some parking at front. The hall at the back is could for functions and events and it has recently been renovated. The kitchen staff make nice food. Overall, good temple. I must mention that if you are eating there, please don't push and make an orderly line. There is plenty of food, it won't run out. Attached are some photos of when I got crushed in the queue. Please don't let that happen again.

I was impressed about the serenity, the beauty of this temple and I found the typical Indian culture, hospitality here, such respect to people of any faith ( as we are of another faith), it is so peaceful to listen and watch the prayer ceremonies even if one is unable to understand the language, the serenity one receives is divine. I have much respect for this temple and it's community.
