Fabulous service, by the young technician

Was great few years ago and was renting off this company for nearly 4 years but gone downhill

Please do not use this company!!! we purchased a dishwasher for a care home some 2 years ago at full cost of nearly £2000. Since installation we have had charged calls outs to rectify problems with what supposed to be a new machine. We have recently been told that the wash pump now needs changing at nearly half of the cost of the machine. Ian (the director of Midshires) is only there for the profits and is not genuinely interested in helping customers.

Always receive excellent service from Midshires, the guys are nothing but kind, friendly and helpful from the initial enquiry to the installation. Would highly recommend

I have worked with Ian at Midshires and picked up jobs for him at various sites .I have over 34 years experience in the Commercial catering industry and work with numerous equipment manufacturers to provide a rapid response repairs.I have read some of the comments that have been levelled at his company, and whilst some may have validity some are sour grapes… because he hasn’t bent over far enough backwards for them……!!Pubs and nursing homes are notoriously difficult customers, and majority of his business is within this sector.These sites have constraints on access, finance and require rapid response issues that are seldom seen in industrial catering or schools or hotels, hospitals, councils etc…..I have installed some of Midshires Compak range of machines at my own companies customers, and have found them to be cost effective and reliable, almost a “fit and forget machine”.Paul SurmanTower Commercial Catering Ltd

I am writing this review for my wife Cristina. She is little bit of a technophobe and has asked me to write this on her behalf.. Midshires has recently taken over the catering of The Hollins school she works at in Accrington .. At first she was a little trepidatious about the changes the would naturally occur.. Her fears were quickly allayed within a couple of days, as it was quickly established that they have a good ethos for the staff and the students.. The food now is all freshly prepared and although it involves more hard work. It is equally rewarding for her. The quality of the food for the students is of a much higher level, and as it is freshly made in the kitchen. The food will be considerably more healthy.. I would suggest, any other schools thinking of taking this route. It is very unlikely you will be disappointed.
