i have enjoyed being on this course; the modules/units are perfectly designed to develop and enhance my skills and confidence, from presentations to group activities. this course helped me to come out of my comfort zone and after every activity or presentation feedback is given to help me identify what we need to improve on. i was also supported to make a professional CV/RESUME, COVER LETTER, Application forms and was prepared for interviews. i feel more confident now than when i first entered the door

This is the place to go if you want to start a career in the security sector and have no prior contacts. Guaranteed interviews at the end of the course with a high pass rate on the tests mean that you will likely come out of mercury with a job. The course itself teaches you the role and responsibilities of a security officer with emphasis on the importance of customer service.The staff themselves are knowledgeable on their individual parts of the course, with years of experience in the security industry and other sectors, they are all down to earth and are willing to help you out as long as you want to learn.The atmosphere of the training course is somewhere between a college and work environment, you are encouraged to take part in a variety of team activities, while also taking responsibility for the work you put forward and the mess you make, your performance will be criticised for improvement and being late too many times or being lazy during group tasks will have you removed from the course.All in all I had a fantastic experience at Mercury, it got me out of my shell and into the security world, cheers guys

Mercury has offered something which I haven't been able to find anywhere else, the modules are perfectly designed for everyone to complete, you partake in both group and individual tasks to showcase your strengths. The teaching from all the staff is absolutely above 100% and I've had a lot of fun there too. I recommend anyone who is looking for a change or challenge try this course.

The tutors at mercury training services are brilliant the teaching is 100%. I enjoyed my 6 weeks training course. I have learnt a lot of new skills and knowledge.Tutors are always supporting and helping you to complete your course. They provide an excellent service through your training period. I woupd highly recommend them. I enjoyed my time whilst I was there.

I have loved this course. My group consisted of a great bunch. Very different personalities that at times clashed but we became a tighter knit group over the weeks down to the skills we learned. The staff are great. Again very big personalities with amazing people skills. You'll know when they are serious and when they are not. This course is more than just SIA, it is setting you up for the scenarios you may face and not just giving you the physical skills but allowing you to developed the interpersonal skills needed to be truly effective within your chosen security role. This course is well thought and designed. Whether you are new to Security and the job market or an old hat. It provides the fundamentals, discipline and knowledge to successfully and confidently search for jobs in the Security Industry or workplace in general. The instructors are friendly, approachable and supportive of your needs, if a little eccentric and eclectic. You will meet other students from varied backgrounds and learn much needed skills. Just give it a chance and you will get back in buckets what you put in.

Very interesting course. Would advise you to attend only if you are going to take it serious. Otherwise, you will have difficulties as an individual and as a group. You will be completing many workbooks and presentations. Overall, the tutors are a good bunch of individuals that will help as much as they can. Only problem i have myself is that the course take 6 weeks from 8am-5pm

Done my level 2 door supervisor course here and got the badge. I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 weeks here thanks to Westy and Devon my tutors for getting me through this course will recommend anyone here who wants to work in the security industry and thanks to all mercury training staff

I done my sia license with mercury and would definitely recommend them. The tutors are great and always there to help no matter the issue. The course helped me grow as a person and learn things about my self that I didn't know before hand. I am now working full time as a security officer all thanks to the course and tutors.
