We took a tour this week with Lane who was wonderfully personable, calming, and humorous. He spoke of much of the history in Cambridge that made it a perfect first activity before heading off to explore Canterbury Cathedral and the rest of the city. The ride was smooth and relaxing despite it being one of the faster currents. Would love to come back again next time I’m in Canterbury and we would request Lane again

What a wonderful time we had for my husband's birthday punting down the river with the Canterbury Punting Company. Marcus was a wonderful chap so full of interesting knowledge of the area. We also stayed for drinks in the lovely bar area looking out over the water. We very much appreciated being able to take our dog with us too. Everyone was very friendly, smart uniforms were fab, and we cannot recommend it highly enough if you are ever visiting Canterbury!

This was such a fun and relaxing experience. The staff are really friendly and make you feel calm while having a guided tour on the canals. We learned a good deal about the local history while enjoying the beautiful scenery. A really good value for money I’d say too.

The experience was incredible and although we did a shared tour, my group was the only people on the boat so that was an added plus. Lane was our guide and he was phenomenal!! There was rain on & off but it didn’t deter us from having a good time. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone visit Canterbury!

This was clearly a highlight on our one-day visit to Canterbury. A must-do.Our punting guide Emil was very entertaining and informative at the same time and we learned and saw things that we otherwise would have missed.Get there early to visit the cozy Café where the Tours start.

Comfortable, well appointed punts and a great value for money tour. Mike, my guide was very informative and had a lovely easy way with the delivery of lots of information as we went up and down the river. He pointed out the best spots to take photos so I didn’t miss anything. Highly recommend this way to see Canterbury.

Lovely leisurely punt along the River Stour by Mike who appeared very knowledgeable. Had to feel sorry for him punting back against the flow of the river. We enjoyed hearing the history of Canterbury and seeing the backs of some of the buildings as well as some of the wildlife along the way. We were sold the trip by one of the team working the high street - so well done to them. You can get a refreshment at their cafe by the launch site and take that on board with you. Trip lasts about 45 minutes.

We had a lovely punting experience on a pleasant morning with Maud at Canterbury. They were friendly, quite accommodating and we learnt a lot about the history while punting through the town. Would definitely recommend this to all visiting Canterbury.

A wonderful member of staff Meg sold us the tickets and was very helpful. We had 2 boats, we were a family of 14. Used a family discount. The guide was informative and humorous, a calm and very pleasant 45min. trip on the river Stour. We did not pre-book due to uncertainty with the weather. We had to wait around 1 hour for our trip, which we easily filled by walking around the cobbled streets of Canterbury.
