After having a terrible experience with all my local estate agents the staff at Fothergill Wyatt were exceptionally good, very helpful and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good estate agent.

We recently rented our current property using Fothergill Wyatt and I couldn't recommend their service enough. They went above and beyond to try and accommodate viewings around our busy schedules. Nicol was reliable, a great point of contact and found us the perfect place to live. She is quick at responding to any queries or questions. She guided us smoothly through the whole renting process and was both understanding and personal whilst remaining completely professional.

Not sure where to start. The worst experience I’ve had with an agency DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM! First they took a whole week to send someone out to fix a broken fridge which led to us throwing away hundred pounds worth of groceries and were told to “store the food in cold water in some pans” rather then send out a replacement as soon as they can. Completely useless you’ll tell them a problem and they never get back to you, you have to chase them down and corner them in order to get any response or action. Tried to scam us out of our security deposit at the end of the year until we challenged it then they reduced the amount of deduction. The flat was not clean and there were dead wasps all over the flat when we moved in. The worst!!!

I have recently rented a property in Leicester with Fothergill Wyatt and they were brilliant. They were so helpful with the rental of the property and continue to be now that I have moved in. Their very helpful staff are so supportive and accommodating. I got a lovely welcome pack when I moved in which was really thoughtful. If I have any queries about the property or any questions for my landlord they make sure to at on them as soon as possible and feedback as soon as they can.I am very happy with my experience with them in the rental and maintenance of my current tenancy ☺️ would definitely recommend

At the end of the tenancy, the agent took an excessive amount of time to return the deposit. They then held back an excessive amount claiming damages after I had chased them up multiple times. The charges were shocking, unfair and without evidence. Half of these were dropped when they were reminded of the law and the other half will be decided by the tenancy deposit scheme. Avoid!

The service provided by Fothergill Wyatt was appalling! I would never rent another property through them again!!!Becky and Nicole were so rude and would not answer the phone. If you reported anything to them you would have to chase it up for a few days yourself they would never get back to you.At the end of the tenancy, they attempted to claim a lot of our deposit due to damage that we hadn’t caused until we challenged it and got it back.Would not recommend AT ALL

Not sure why there are so many one star reviews but from what I’ve gathered it’s because these people don’t understand the renting process and weren’t happy when they didn’t act when they should’ve.I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. I am a first time renter and, because of that, I was quite eager to get the ball rolling with a flat I had found. I must’ve rang them 3 times a day at one point during the process to make sure everything was going well and they were absolutely fantastic with me from start to finish

A great experience settling into a new rental property through Fothergill Wyatt. A friendly, proactive team made the experience a whole lot smoother from great phone communication right through to viewing, securing a property and collecting the keys. After a number of challenging interactions with other agencies it was reassuring to have ended with FW. Definitely recommend!

As a Healthcare worker during this Covid-19 Pandemic, I was worried about working and going home with the risk of infecting my household. I was rearing to go and work in the frontline, but how would I get separate accommodation. So I put a post on LinkedIn requesting any one who had accommodation near the Leicester Royal Infirmary.Nicol responded quite quite quickly, and after she spoke to her employers and the landlords, they offered me an apartment on Bede Street, for the duration of the Covid Pandemic. I thought it would be just a bed seat, but hey its an immaculate one bedroom apartment situated 10-15minutes walk to work. The street is so quiet, but this may be due to the lockdown. Tesco and many shops are 5 minutes away.I signed a contract within a couple of days and Nicol and her staff made sure the apartment was clean. I feel so much at home here.Now maybe the question you may ask is how much am I being charged since I have another house, and how about the bills? Fair question. Out of their good heart for NHS workers, I am paying £1 a month and the bills are covered unto £100.I really cannot complain. I have kept my housemates safe. Needless to say I did contract the virus, and the apartment was a perfect place to self isolate, with food and necessities being dropped at the door.I will be eternally grateful to Fothergill Wyatt Partners and their staff
