Purchased a gold necklace which was tarnnished. As we were on holiday in Torquay it was not possible to return. It shd never have been sold in this state. It didn't help that the intetior lighting was poor. My husbsnd has bought me at least one item of jewellery from this shop for the last 18 years, before the covid pandemic. We will never return. Very disappointing.

I would love to have an email address to enquire about something that I saw in the window last week. The owner was busy when i went into the shop.

Came here to repair a bracelet which I’d bought for my wife a few years ago. Staff were friendly and really knowledgable and got it sorted quickly. Would definitely come back!

Disgusted and appalled is an understatement! The service I received was disgusting. I took my late grandmother's ring into the shop back in November to be resized and turned into white gold as originally it was gold. The shop sent off the ring and told me it could be done and then we paid and collected the ring. This ring was to be my wedding ring so It was kept in a box till June this year when I got married. In the meantime I had 1 other ring re erodiumed in white gold after 1 month it had tarnished so sent it back to be redone along with my engagement ring which they did and I paid for the 1 extra ring to be done. Then a month after being married my wedding ring snapped and tarnished. So once again I returned to the shop to tell them. The shop owner/manager called me to say I didn't get the job done there and must of had it done elsewhere and was quite rude on the phone. After about a week of several phonecalls and them not listening saying they had lack of information they found the paperwork and agreed they had done the job. Then 2 days ago I had another phone call to them pretty much calling me a liar again that they have completed the job but they will not be held responsible for anything else to do with the ring and that this can't of been the original ring as they wouldn't reorodiumed a gold ring and again was quite rude and blunt down the phone. Now being a newly wed and those rings are very sentimental to me I haven't been able to wear them and to be basically called a liar I feel very upset, angry and to be honest disappointed in the service I've received. If I had been told from the start that it wouldn't work turning a gold ring white gold then I wouldn't have proceeded but not once did they say that. I can not be held responsible for there note keeping of the jobs they do. I do hope nobody has to be made the way I felt and to go through this experience.
