As a sixth generation Texan, I've got a well honed appreciation for fine smoked and slow cooked meat. This place is top notch excellent barbecue. The owner learned his skills in South Africa at the braai but excels at Southwestern US cooking. I had brisket burnt ends and the Low'n Slow burger with a slab of brisket on the beef. Damn fine food! Highest recommendation if you like slow cooked fine pieces of beef.

Me and my mate had a great meal here, the venue is small with great atmosphere, the staff are really friendly and attentive and the food is great. We had the combo plate and shared the burnt ends and south African sausage- will defo be back for the 1kg of steak!

I would have given 5 stars, but you have some steps to go down into the reception, then dining is upstairs. We loved the food. Drinks were good apart from one beer, which was warm. Server was nice and polite.

What an amazing BBQ joint! Before you even walk in you get that waft off BBQ, so if you wasn't hungry before you will be before you open the door.What I love is the meat isn't covered in sauce when it is served, you can add as little or as much as you prefer but I'd recommend just tucking in as the smoke flavours don't need to be complimented. If like me you ordered a lot of food, if any of it get colds they will warm it back up on the grill. To be honest my plate didn't get a chance to cool down because I devoured it. They also stock a great selection of local beers which is awesome.Id like to thank the owners and the staff for delivering great food and service. I'm coming back for one of the challenges for sure.

Food was great and authentic, beer choice great, 3 out of 5 of us were fussy eaters and all well sorted. Keep forgetting to come back due cost of living etc but this restaurant deserves supporting.

The menu offered a delightful variety of barbecue options, and I was thrilled to try them all.The standout for me was the tender, fall-off-the-bone ribs, which were perfectly seasoned and bathed in a rich, flavorful sauce. The brisket was equally impressive, with a delightful smokiness that made each bite a true delight.The sides were just as impressive as the mains. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, while the coleslaw provided a refreshing contrast with its crispness and tangy dressing.The service was exceptional, with the staff being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We had Smoke BBQ Kitchen at our wedding last week and it went down an absolute treat with everyone! From start to finish they were so easy to work with and the food truck was a great addition to our festival style wedding. The food was 11/10 & they were the talk of the wedding. High recommend and we will definitely be back to the restaurant to dine again. Thank you!! x
