Sylvesters the Jewellers

Very poor customer service. A TiSento ring bought me from this jewellers as a gift for Christmas 2017 & after me wearing it just twice, a tiny stone came out of the mount at a60th sedate dinner party I was attending. Upon returning it to the shop with receipt, the female shop assistant said this can happen even if you tap a ring on a desk and demonstrated. I sated maybe with a cheap costume ring but not a £90 item, that I have ever bought. She offered a repair. I stated I'd rather have an equivalent value replacement with NO stone. She went out back to consult with Mr Sylvester himself you came out rather abruptly told me I'm not giving a refund or exchange as this ring had been won't and has only has SCRAP value". "Scrap value" I said "I have only had it month and worn it twice. There is not a mark on it" (see pic). So he was only prepared to repair it. I said what if it happens again. He said "Just bring it back again" disgusted contacted Ti Sento direct who advised Mr Sylvester is bound by their 6mth Warrantee and should have offered me repair

Sylvesters in Kenilworth is, in my opinion, THE BESTHigh Street Jeweller's within a 20mile radius.They are exceptional!I would like to make a special mention of an employee named 'Mike'.He's has always delivered, the HIGHEST level of customer service, the BEST knowledge of anyone else in the area, and the most VALUE FOR MONEY.I don't write many reviews with this detail, but I cannot recommend Sylvester's Jewellers (and in particular MIKE) enough.If you are looking for the best service that you can get, with regards to anything to do with jewellery and watches, then this is the only place I would recommend.Maria

Took my partners Armani watch in to them as the crown had fallen out of the watch the pin was bent. They straightened it and secured it back in the watch and got the watch working again. All free of charge. Can't thank them enough as everywhere else wanted the earth to fix it or said they can't touch it. X

Took my new watch for the strap to be altered and the watch set up done this while I waited

Excellent service as always as they skilfully changed the clasp on my edwardian bracelet.Highly recommended if you need a specialist service.

Have made several purchases at sylvesters very happy with al of them. But what I am very impressed with is the jewellery repair service. Took a watch needing a new pin 2 necklaces needing new clasps and 2 bracelets needing 're attaching all done in half an hour and £15. Such fab service

Mr Sylvester was very rude to me!He spoke to me as if I couldn’t possibly understand.He has completely ruined my husbands tri-colour wedding ring and he takes no responsibility for it whatsoever.Beware of the price he quotes, he quoted £34 and we had to pay £100.Definitely a jewellers to be avoided, luckily it’s closing down!

I am always pulling my necklaces so that the links break - Sylvesters in Kenilworth put it right and never charge. This service is amazing and they are always helpful. Not only that but they support Waverley-Caring in Kenilworth by sponsoring the Waverley bus used to collect and deliver elderly people for a day out at Waverley, and for that Waverley are very grateful. Excellent customer service. The best jewellers in Kenilworth. Very skilled repairs. Also sell pretty jewellery for sale , especially gold chains. I wear mine every day. This morning they adjusted a padlock on my new gold bracelet in moments. No charge.
