Leighton Buzzard Practical Driving Test Centre

Had my C+E HGV practical test today, Ray the examiner was very professional, explained to me before the test what was going to take place, and was friendly throughout the drive which made me feel at ease. After I was told I passed the test he then pointed out a few minor points for me to take note for the future, which was very helpful. Thank you.

Today I had Jill, she was amazing. She was very polite and followed all the procedures to make me feel at ease. I had the radio on and she spoke to me throughout making me feel very comfortable. Passed with only one minor!!

I had Jo as my examiner and straight away she was very friendly, explained everything that would happen during the test. I was very nervous but Jo was fantastic, putting me at ease straight away and within 10 minutes I forgot I was even on a test and felt like I was driving with a friend. I passed and its thanks to Jo and her fantastic way of putting people at ease. I highly recommend this test centre you won’t be disappointed!

I had Ray as my examiner today. Before even getting in the car he immediately made me feel comfortable and settled my nerves by engaging in conversation throughout the test and therefore allowing me to leave the test centre with a pass! I couldn’t have asked for a better examiner!

Now don’t get me wrong, the examiner I had started off nice, and there was the odd joke/conversation in the car, making me feel at ease..thankfully for me I passed my test, but unfortunately my examiner (I can’t remember her name), upon telling me I passed there was no ‘congratulations’ etc, just ‘you passed’ then spent about 10 minutes laying into me about the mistakes I made! Yes I understand that she may of just be giving a little advice, but it was dealt with in quite a rude manner, it felt like she was angry she couldn’t fail me!luckily for me, being a little older than your ‘usual’ learner, I’m quite thick skinned and took it on the chin, but if that was a younger person, who is more timid this could be quite upsetting!Specially, even for me.. it doesn’t really feel like I passed, taking away what should be quite a proud moment!Have given two stars as I believe how she was at the start and in the car, being nice to settle nerves is not deserving in just the one star

Great experience with Leighton Buzzard Practical Driving Test. I would like to thank my examiner Jill . She was a real calm and understanding professional. Thanks to her, my emotions disappeared. By the way I passed from the first try and 3 minor mistakes.

I was so nervous for taking my test but I had a lovely man called Ray who really did calm all of my nerves and gave me a really positive experience! Thanks to Ray talking to me and keeping me calm, I was lucky enough to pass after having bad experiences at St Albans test centre! I’m very happy. Thanks again Ray.

Good test centre. The examiner Roy was the nicest, kindest person. Very experienced and spots all mistakes even if you think you got away with something. Fair and sympathetic. He tries to make the test as pleasant as possible. I had both Class 2 and Class 1 exams in there and would definitely recommend to others

Passed my second test here about a month ago - had Jo who was very lovely and kept me calm and talking throughout, even commenting on other drivers’ bad habits and complimenting me when I didn’t follow them! Passed with only 1 minor, would absolutely recommend this test center over any of the other local ones.

Fantastic experience with Ray and Peter, made me feel at ease during my test. Had my re test done after a week both examiners were polite and professional. Would definitely recommend!!!
