This is a high-end shop catering for enthusiasts and the well-heeled. Because of this, they stock only high-quality and high-priced items. They don't cater for the ride-to-work cyclist so much.I'm a ride-to-work cyclist. On the few occasions I've been in there, I've felt quite uncomfortable. The staff greet you with a smile that says, What can I sell you today?" I'd rather see a smile that says

Called in on a ride from Silverstone to South Wales as I’d lost 2 chainring bolts. The lovely chap at the shop found 2 bolts and filed a washer down to get me on my way. Thank you very much.

when i was a competitive cyclist i used the shop regularly and spend a lot....i am now only an amateur cyclist yet rang Tim to see if he could help again after 9 years of not using this shop, he was JUST as kind and helpful as always even though im not a proper racing cyclist and sent me what i needed that day even though others must be more important and spend more ! VERY GRAYEFUL a real gentleman and pleasure to deal with

Called into the shop just before christmas not really expecting them to have anything in stock in my price range but they did have a hybrid which was exactly what i was looking for to use as a second bike over winter, after a few modifications i collected the bike a few days later.Unfortunately i had an issue with the gears but after contacting Tim the bike was taken in and sorted the same day.Despite the bike being right at the lower end of their price range of products i was treated the same as if i had spent 10 times more, with friendly helpful service.When the time comes to upgrade i will be looking to buy from them as I know the advice will be genuine.

I have bought 3 bikes from the team at Echelon and they are always happy to help and can’t do enough for you. I am not gifted technically and Tim and the team always explain everything you need to know in detail.The last bike purchased was via the cycle to work scheme and the whole process was really easy and straight forward.I can’t praise the Echelon team enough - they are excellent!

I was so grateful to Tim and his colleague today. They responded immediately to my online enquiry and last-minute plea for help before an upcoming race. Both were so helpful in recommending the best components for my set-up. The knowledge & experience of the team is very reassuring as I know so little about the technical side of my new TT bike. I feel reassured, safe & ready to race now. Would highly recommend !
