Cavity wall insulation - I am writing this review on behalf of my mother Mary McCaffrey who had cavity wall insulation installed last Friday. Johnny was extremely professional, responded quickly and completed the job efficiently and to an excellent standard. The workmen were courteous and helpful and I am very impressed and pleased with the customer service. I got this work done through the affordable warmth scheme and Certainfil made the process so easy to complete and had good helpful advice.

After having read past reviews we were quite keen to use this company for both roof insulation and cavity wall insulation. John called when we weren't home and drilled the wall to see what insultation was already in place. He sent my husband a photograph and a price. We had intended to get the roof insulation done first but after speaking with John he basically said that our home was badly built" and that doing roof insulation and not cavity wall insulation at the same time would be like "putting a woolly hat on while wearing wet clothes". He also asked if we liked living in a "damp house". Our home isn't damp. There is cavity wall insultation in place already and roof insulation also. Despite finding John incredibly rude I spoke with him on 8 September 2022 at which point he said that he would call with us within 2 weeks to explain things to us. We are still waiting on that visit. However

Very efficient service, from booking a survey to completing the job. Johnny was very informative and quick to respond to any queries. The workmen that carried out the job were polite, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Such a difference to the heat in our home.

This company delivers a great product and first class customer service. John turned up when he said he would and provided a quotation on the day, which we accepted.The team turned up as arranged and couldn’t have been more professional. At the end of each day, they cleaned up thoroughly. They went to great pains to explain their processes and how they are able to ensure that old insulation is completely removed before the new material is pumped into the walls.All in all, I was thoroughly impressed and would recommend Certainfil without reservation.

Very difficult and awkward job but Johnny was clear and honest every step of the way. The team did a fantastic job and cleaned up any mess outside afterwards - can't praise them enough and I would happily recommend them to any and everyone.
