Bond With Your Dog

I arranged training as my dog (Ollie) was reactive on walks and walks had become a burden to go on and were never enjoyable. I had both a theory and practical session with Nikolai. The theory was a great base to start with and to learn behaviours and knowledge for going forward with practical training, it gave me a better understanding of my dog. Ollie quickly picked up on training and now walks with him have become enjoyable again and he loves socialising with other dogs. In fact Ollie is now so well behaved with other dogs we have successful introduced a new puppy to our household. I cannot thank Nikolai enough, a very caring dog trainer with a lot of knowledge and skills to teach!

Nikolai really helped with Dolly's anxiety when meeting dogs she didn't know. He was really calm and gave both Dolly and I confidence and great tips for helping her be OK. He is such a kind man who obviously has the best welfare for dogs at his heart. His advice was great and in the practical sessions Dolly was fantastic. I would 100% recommend Nikolai to help you sort your doggie problems out.

We had two sessions with Nikolai. One was theory and the second one was practical session In the park. Most important he pointed out our mistakes and helped to understand our dog's behaviours. We do feel now we are really bonding with our dog and have much calmer relationship with her. We can handle her easy now. Few weeks into training and she so much better now. Only thing I do regret is not reaching for help earlier.

We had a session with Nikolai because we were reading lots and finding so many different points of view, and it felt like we weren't consistently trying one approach. Nikolai was really helpful, explained his own views and how he approaches training his own dogs, but it felt like he was very flexible in trying to find out what might work for us (dog included), and he very clearly cares a lot for the welfare and happiness of animals.No amount of YouTube training videos compares to having a real-life session where you get advice and ideas tailored specifically to your dog. We were having trouble getting our dog to be interested in treats (which made training more difficult!) but by the end of an hour with Nikolai we'd found a way to get his attention and come back for a reward.Because I'm so bad at getting round to writing reviews (we met with him about a month ago now), I can say with a good level of hindsight that you won't regret learning from Nikolai!

We struggled with our young lab who was quite anxious while on walks, we had been going to training for sometime however Nikolai’s approach to helping with our dog was very refreshing, he gave us a lot of insight into why our dog may have been anxious and tips in how to help. The session was stress free and definitely worth the money, I would recommend Nikolai to anyone

Nikolai is a very sensitive and caring dog lover who understands a great deal about the psychology of both dogs and human beings. He took immense care to help me with a somewhat grumpy nervous little puppy, called Charlie. After one session Charlie and I were able to bond nicely. After the second session, Charlie became the most perfect dog.I cannot thank Nikolai too much for his kindness and sweet training methods involving love and gentle voices. I recommend Bond with your Dog to anyone who wants a happy relationship with a calm and loving dog. I am so impressed by the results and want every owner to enjoy their dog as much as I enjoy Charlie the Divine.

First session with Nikolai was Friday 3rd August and can't thank him enough. First time Buddy has went further than the front door in the evening in months. Will definitely be back in touch with him once he is more relaxed in going out. Would highly recommend Nikolai to anyone who has issues with their dog. He has a calming effect on a really stressful border collie and owner.

It was clear from speaking to Nikolai how much he loves, and respects dogs. He had some really useful techniques to try and I hope I can help our dog become a happier more settled dog!
