Wot wot, an honest and conscientious garage? Our battery which we bought at Halfords a couple of years ago kept loosing charge, which we initially thought was because we only use our car once every two weeks for short trips to the grocery store. We took it into Autocar Repairs and they did some tests and said it was just depleted, charged it up and thought that was it. They charged me labour for the trouble. Unfortunately just a couple of days later, the car failed to start again. I rung them up, they acknowledged that shouldn’t have happened, and sent two guys to pick up the car within half an hour and took it back to the garage again to do tests. On the phone Jason explained it would be completely free of charge as there may be a fault they didn’t detect the first time round. In the meantime I explained I need to use the car the next day, so he fitted a loan battery to my car so my journey could still happen. After a long weekend it was clear the battery had a fault and a replacement was ordered, which I did pay for as it’s a new part. But the price was reasonable and I didn’t feel I was overcharged for the level of service and professionalism. Hats off. Thank you!

Took my car here after a few other garages either refused to fix the AC or told me it would be a horror story of a repair. These guys provided a great solution, were honest and did it for a fair price. Would definitely recommend

Had the car serviced and brakes done in April.This is the first chance I've had to submit a review.My first time using this garage , and it definitely will not be my last time..From start to finish they were very proffessional and kept me informed at every juncture.I have always been to main dealers and have been ripped of and charged e torsionate amounts of money.Not only were they reasonable they were also timely in completing the works.Very Very satisfied.Again , Thank-you very much

Had to write a review for this, when I took my car here it had engine management light on saying of overheating and the car really sounded like it was struggling not running well at all, I booked in for a full service but over the phone as I mentioned the warning light was on and sounded like a problem with the fan not working they kindly suggested to bring the car in the next day to diagnose the problem, I left the car here and they quickly found the problem and ordered the part needed, there was an issue with getting Peugeot to deliver the part which was no fault of their own and they kept me updated and even offered to get the car running temporarily to keep me on the road. When the part arrived they quickly fitted and serviced my car, I must say the car is driving like a dream now money well spent, I shall most definitely be returning as and when I need servicing repairs etc, Highly recommend to all. Thanks

Excellent for genuine, honest, acceptably (not cheaply) priced servicing and repairs for Bristols and other classics. Intelligent when needed. Great communication. Usually good natured but not always. Highly recommended.

Been driving for 20 years as a female and I have never experienced such great service from a car repairs garage. I explained I really needed the MOT on the day and they were nothing but supportive. It was ready for pick up when they said it would be. No scary conversations, no patronising, no nothing, just great honest, super fast service!

I’d give zero stars if I could — avoid at all costs.Staff have been rude and condescending on multiple occasions. Once they even advised I “buy a new car” rather than willing diagnose the problem. Another garage fixed it with a £26 part plus labour.
