OSHPAZ - Regent Street

It is such a treat to find authentic Uzbek food in London. OshPaz has a compact but delicious menu which includes many Central Asian favourites, including plov, lagman, and manti. Some of the options are vegetarian, and everything is beautifully presented: the sprinkling of pomegranate seeds on the plov is a lovely touch.I went to OshPaz last night for my work Christmas party and despite being a Tuesday, the restaurant was full. The staff were efficient and attentive, despite being busy, and there was a lively atmosphere. We had a brilliant time.All of our group have visited Uzbekistan previously and rated the food at OshPaz most highly. It’s a great reflection of Uzbek culture in the heart of London.

Newly opened restaurant on Regent street with authentic Uzbek food. I've seen their's pop up at Mercato Metropolitano, but the little restaurant is even better as its more relaxed and a proper place to sit down. Its little, but very busy place which was a good sign. The staff was friendly and they spoke English, Russian or Uzbek which was very handy. Food was yummy, especially manty, plov was very good too. I was nicely surprised by their list of teas, which i love. Definitely coming back!

First time there we were greeted and served exceptionally well by Dilfuza the waitress. The food was amazing, great portion worth every penny. I highly recommend it. Who ever gave this place 1star is wrong! This is definitely 5star.

I rarely leave reviews, but this places deserves one. I was walking past and stopped there for a meal and was fascinated. Nice, ambient atmosphere, delicious authentic food and the owner of this place is a lovely person!

Delicious food, friendly & speedy service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The vegan options were just as delicious as the meat! Didn’t get photos of the mains or manty (dumplings) because they were eaten too quickly. The fruit teas were also delicious - made with honey.

Uzbek food, very nice and fresh.The waitress is very nice and friendly.Service from the kitchen needs to be more consistent, as they serve the same dishes in different formats, some gave sauce, some not.Plov is nice, quantity can be more. No sauce offy.Sadly they don't have horse Plov, I guess it will surprise/offend many people.Lag-Mam is good but lacking a bit of oomph.Puff Samsy was very nice, sadly the didn't provide sauce with it and no baby lamb.The 3 types of Manty are nice but no sauce is served.Spice tea was good, I prefer if they do it with full fat milk.Honey cake was nice and not overly sweet.The mango tea recommended by the waitress was lovely and fruity, the tea not the waitress ;-)Definitely a place to go back...Keep the good work guys!

I had never heard of Uzbek food before. (Ignorant I know). We walked past it, were super hungry and something told me to step inside. It was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. What’s ironic, literally almost next door is a Greek restaurant, Milos. I went there in August. Over priced and mediocre food. This food at Oshpaz was sooo much better! Our meal for 2 was £27 versus a meal for 3 at Milos was £400 (only 2 cocktails). Go figure. Don’t walk to Oshpaz, make a special trip. It’s worth it!
