I contacted this company with a smashed upstairs window that needed to be replaced quickly. They were extremely helpful and fixed the problem right away. Extremely friendly company that fixed the window within 20 minutes of arriving. would definitely recommend and use again

I contacted Meakins via the website in the evening and had an immediate call back. An engineer attended the following morning and fixed the problem with the stuck window. Great response time, excellent service and very professional.

Contacted this company recently! Very friendly and helpful. Changed a glass panel for me, great prices and very efficient when the glazier arrived he was extremely polite and friendly. Perfect job done would highly recommend.

Very disappointed with the service from start to finish. Agreed appointment times were missed twice due to Meakins and Sons and so I had to re-schedule three times with my electrician as an extractor fan was being fitted into the new window pane. I then contacted Meakins and Sons after works completed and advised of dissatisfaction due to works being delayed by two weeks due to their lack of timings and they advised they had done nothing wrong. I would never use this company again.

We needed to contact Meakin & Sons in an emergency during the early hours of the morning. They provided an excellent service - arriving promptly, and working quickly to resolve our issue. They left the site and returned a few days later to install new glass panes. Again, they were on time, courteous and left the property clean and tidy. Both invoices were as discussed and agreed in advance. Thoroughly recommend their services.

We called Meakins & Sons over the Christmas period following a break in at one of the properties we manage. They arrived quickly, secured the window properly, boarded it up and then provided a quote for the remedial works. We were very impressed with the service they provided and have since asked them to complete further works at other properties. Good value, fast efficient service and very easy to deal with.

Terrible experience with this company. I was told a number of times that glass was ready to be fitted and that it would be completed in time for our holiday. Unfortunately 6 weeks later it wasn't and I'm still waiting for my money back!Stay clear!

Highly recommend. Prompt and courteous fitter who completed the job of replacing a broken in window following a burglary at my parents home. He was with me within 3 hours of placing the call, cleared up all the broken glass and the people on the phone who arranged the fitter were sympathetic and efficient. Thank you for such good service at a very stressful time.

I'd give Meakins more stars if I could! What wonderful, prompt service. My patio doors blew out in a storm one night. No local company was able to help. Then I found Meakins' number. I spoke to someone at about 8.40am, was called back within 10 minutes and had the wonderful Adam with me by 1.30pm, job done and dusted within the hour. I would not hesitate to recommend.
