I had afternoon tea and it was great. The sandwiches and cakes were delicious. So much food too considering the fairly average price. They were happy to give me a box to take home what I couldn't manage. Pram friendly. Lovely associated shop of gifts and sweet treats.

Makro dressed up as artisan. Overpriced for what it is, slow service and not the best food. A lot of products are direct from Makro which isn't good enough for an expensive tea room with the word artisan on its menu.

Slow service - AVOID.Nice pub conversion. That's about as good as it gets.Ash is overpriced, extremely slow service from staff who just don't care.Only visit if you are prepared for a long wait and have a lot to talk about with your friends. Fast this in not.The food is nothing special - and overpriced.

Visited for the first time. Started off great, staff seemed friendly enough and the shop was nice to mooch around. There were 5 of us with our babies, all ordered a drink, meal and dessert. Food was pretty decent, if not slightly over priced. We'd been there for just two hours, having only recently finished our desserts, when staff came over and asked us to leave to free up the table. I felt really put out by this and quite angered that we had given them our custom to then be hurried along like cattle. The place was fairly busy but there wasn't exactly a queue of people waiting to be seated. It's was just plain rude.

We enjoyed a nice breakfast there. Price was OK. I will be going back. The staff were nice, not the quickest, but it's not Burger King and I prefer to relax, not rush.

Went with a friend to ash tea rooms on Tuesday 21st July and ordered two afternoon teas at twelve pound fifty each. Poor value for money definitely will not go again.On the plus side lovely shop at front.Stars are for the shop

I've visited this place several times with my mummy friends and babies and the staff are so accommodating, welcoming and friendly to all our babies (if they haven't got room for us cos of prams they are very apologetic!) Food is lovely, not cheap but you get what you pay for and its a great venue with a lovely little shop of treats at the front. Well worth a visit!
