Tatra Escapes

Just returned from an amazing few days away with Tatra Escapes. The Tatra mountains are absolutely stunning. Alena was super attentive and made sure that nobody got left behind. The accomodation was immaculate and very comfortable, with a lovely bar where you could relax in the evenings.I went in my own and met some fabulous people who I will stay in touch with. It was a totally exhilarating experience. If you are considering, just go for it!

At last a moment to say a huge thank you for the great time I had hiking in the TATRA Mountains… I was so lucky to be with a group like the one we were… It was wonderful the way we all mixed and matched and the way we stayed as the perfect TEAM to the very END.You more than satisfied my needs—your attention to details, consistent good humor, wealth of local and historical knowledge left me free to wallow in gorgeous scenery. And I liked the ‘spacing’ of the schedule—always time for individual pursuits after hiking…This week in the presence of lofty mountains…I have felt renewed by the awesome beauty of this country. My own senses teach me, but not completely. Your passions and knowledge and insights about this small patch of glorious earth teach me much more—and deepen my love for it. How kind you have been to all—how respectful and sensitive to our needs and unique interests…It is your generosity of spirit which will make my TATRA adventure live forever in the great memories. I had an absolutely amazing time with Tatra Escapes. What an amazing holiday. I got to meet some amazing people and do some incredible hiking with stunning scenes and landscapes!Alena is so organised, it made everything so easy. She is friendly, runs a great company that cares about the environment and walking at the best times for the group.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys walking/hiking

Absolutely loved my hiking holiday to the Tatra mountains, we had glorious weather! Slovakia is very beautiful and this was a very enjoyable trip. Definitely bring your sunscreen! Very well organised and our guide Vlad was amazing.The accommodation was also comfortable and provided everything necessary.

I had an incredible trip! Alena was exceptionally helpful, always available to answer questions. I traveled from the United States, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. The challenging hikes were undeniably worth it, and the overall experience, from the delicious food to the relaxing accommodations, was exceptional.

Great experience hiking in the Tetra mountains with Alena as our guide. Beautiful landscape and waterfalls and knowledgeable guide. The addition of a yoga instructor on the wellness retreat made it even more enjoyable. Would totally recommend Alena - she looked after us from start to finish. Great Holiday. Thank you Alena

An excellent trip, well organised, the host Alena was lovely and welcoming. Accommodation and breakfast were perfect and we were located near the Old Town which is quiet and I had a great sleep in the comfy bed. There is an Aldi nearby, meals are cheap and transport cheap as well.Bring hydration tabs.Rysy is an awesome day in the mountains and I can happily recommend TatraEscapes.

Amazing experience from start to finish. Alena was amazing- knowledgeable, informative and accommodating. The hikes were beautiful - Poprad and the Tatra mountains are incredible. Accommodation was clean and well kept. Highly highly recommended.Thanks again

Just got back from a wonderful trip , the beginners - intermediate trek and what a fantastic adventure we had . Forests of Christmas trees , rolling grassland and dramatic jagged peaks , A superb bunch of like minded people , strangers at first , firm friends by the end . The landscape is breathtaking, food really tasty and Alena was a great informative guide and companion. Would def go again
