Woodys home improvement centre

We had our kitchen and flooring fitted and supplied by Woody's Home Improvement/Flooring, in Glasgow. We were looked after by Stephen, Ryan and their team of fitters. Everything was brilliant and smooth running from beginning to end. Stephen and Ryan were extremely knowledgeable, and guided us easily through the complete process of designing and fitting of our kitchen, as well as helping us chose the perfect flooring. They listened to our needs, and understood what we were looking for, and ensured they designed our dream kitchen within our budget, as well as fitting the perfect flooring throughout our living area, which I must add, flows beautifully. The kitchen and flooring arrived on time, and was fitted by an excellent team of fitters. The floors were fitted first throughout our living space and kitchen, they didn't scrimp on leaving out the floor under the cabinets, they floored wall to wall and ensured that all our expectations were exceeded. We can't thank Woody's and especially Stephen, Ryan and their fitting team for a truly amazing Kitchen, with wonderful flooring throughout. I would highly recommend them.

I've used woodys for my flooring in the kitchen, carpet in the livingroom and blinds in 3 rooms - they are my go to for home improvements. I've always had an excellent experience with woodys. The guys in the shop are very patient and friendly and the guys that have come out to do the work complete the jobs to a high standard. I definitely recommend them.

The guys in store were really welcoming and helpful. We had the carpets done first and the tradesmen dropped something on the laminate flooring in the hallway and chipped it. They didn't even mention it at the time - just left without a word. We had a bit of an issue when the laminate was getting done in November 2022. The tradesmen cut through a water pipe in the upstairs bedroom which caused a leak down to the dining room and the living room underneath. Not a major issue - accidents happen and we were assured that everything would be fixed. The pipe was replaced and we were told that a painter would be out to sort the walls which were now water damaged. The walls have still not been painted and I was constantly having to chase Woodys to get an update. Told serval times that the painter would be out to see it - no show on two separate occasions. He did eventually come out to see the walls and said Woodys would be in touch to arrange a date. We are still waiting. I've given up calling. Not the best service and their contractors are a bit careless so I've got to question what checks are being done by the company before hiring them. Really disappointed.

We got our carpet done by them and the service was totally below the mark! They did not even do the finishing at the sides or the doors or put the door bars, even though this was all discussed and included in the price we paid them. Their fitters were awful in communication. The manager of the store, Collin, and the fitters have been saying they will come back soon to put the door bars in, as the very expensive and thick carpet they put in is getting ruined as threads are coming out of it - however they still have not been back to do it, despite my many calls to them. They keep giving vague promises every time claiming they will come and fix it and this has been going on for nearly 3 months. At this rate my carpet will be ruined in a few months for which I spent a lot of money. Was honestly a mistake giving them their full payment and taking their words that the fitters would come back the next day after fitting the carpet, to put the finishing bars, yet up till now they still haven't come. Now they sometimes give us reasons for not putting it in such as the carpet being too thick, whereas they never guided us about this kind of thing at the start or discussed how the finishing will be done or that they would just leave it with threads coming out, even though they included finishing in the price. It looks really bad as there are gaps between the rooms and hallway. I still don't know how the finishing for my carpet can be done, and if I can/need to get someone else to. Very disappointing.

I had my full house laminated by Woodys and my stairs had carperts laid down. I can’t fault the service I received from Woodys. Colin was absoutle amazing at helping us choose, even when I was being fussy and changing my mind. He showed us nothing but kindness and professionalism. The fitters where amazing too, did the job perfect. Then when a flood happened in my kitchen few days after my flooring had been laid, David was Absoutley amazing arranging new flooring to go down asap and really took stress away from a stressful siuation, even more amazing the fitters did it on their day off. The service I have received has been outstanding from day 1 and they truly do care about their customers happiness & I would recommend them 1000 times over. Thank you for all you did for us guys!

Got all my carpets for my new flat from these guys. Exellent service, very fast, efficient and friendly both the store guys and the fitters. Got the carpet in my bedroom ordered and fitted in only a couple days! And much cheaper than the big brand shops like carpet right and such. If I ever need more carpet or any other flooring I'll be back to Woodys!

Got my kitchen flooring done today the boys moved my fridge freezer it wasn't a bother to them It was a big help to me made a gr8 job I would recommend them to anyone and their prices r reasonable . Thank u woody's

Went shopping for carpets and had great service from Kevin, not pushy helped us decide what we wanted and gave us a price. Shopped his price and after the poor service from other more local shops ordered from Kevin, not the cheapest quote,but in the ball park enough to pay for the excellent service.The carpet was to be fitted at 8:30 this morning and the fitters called me at 8:10 to ask where I was (empty house) got up at 8:15 carpets fitted by 8:50.I had expected to wait until 9:00 and then have to call to ask when they would arrive!!Great Service and great fitting.Would heartily recommend them

Thanks Woodys for a beautiful job on our new carpet on our stairs. Your carpet fitter Brian Kenny and staff were so diligent on fitting a carpet with tartan pattern on stairs that was not straight. It looks fantastic. I would like to say how polite, mannerly and caring they were in my house.
