Beautifull peacefull monastry, silence allows time to hear the Lord and participate in any of the sung services by the brothers.Accomodation and food good. Also beautifull garden to walk and enjoy.

One of the greatest modern monasteries. The life of the monks there is incredibly rigorous and devoted to the community. They host services multiple times a day, all which are well worth your time. The monks there are deeply committed to the work of reconciliation between Catholics and Protestants within Ireland. If you are a Christian and are in the area, spending an hour or more at the monastery and with the monks would likely prove to be a highlight of your time in the area.
