Good playground for various ages - sand pit, young kids slide and climbing frame, bigger climbing frame and slide for older kids, swings and other little play areas. Also has a water area in the summer.

Fantastic stop off on a day out. Fun for all ages of children. Beautiful gardens stunning flowers and walks for the dogs. Keep fit equipment, best I have ever seen in an outdoor play area. Plenty of parking and seating around the park for parents to chill out.

Bitts Park Playground
Bitts Park is a great location for a fun filled afternoon. The play area is fab and versatile with elements to suit all ages. It gets quite busy on weekends and school holidays, but there is normally enough space for all. The water area is a particular fave for my kids, plus the sand and diggers. There is a free car park at the back of the park, so follow the road around and walk back across the field.We also love the music trail, but some of the elements need a bit of fixing.Really liking the new Tribe" area near the play park

Bitts Park Playground
Love it here at Bitts Park there's something for everyone, the river, the play park for the kids which is great it even has accessible equipment for children with disabilities. You have the Eden Valley hospice memorial park, the Chinese garden, the exercise park (handy for those who can't afford the gym), and the wider area of park area itself which is lovely for playing and having a picnic with the family. They are currently adding an area with storage containers to use as a little village shop kind of area where there will be bars etc.

Bitts Park Playground
This kids playground is within Bitts Park. A park within walking distance of Carlisle City centre. A treasure that is worth a visit if you come to the city. Set behind the castle and along the river Eden there are 4 main sections to it, the playground, a huge flat green area, tennis courts and the Victoria garden. A totally beautiful place to have fun with friends and family or pets or just to take some quiet time by yourself.
