⚠️Caffrey Flooring - Friendly Warning ⚠️For anyone making improvements in their home and looking for someone qualified to lay flooring for you - please see the 'photo finish' before contacting Caffrey Flooring.It was organised with Kyle Caffrey to have him lay flooring in the hallway/entry, livingroom, and 2x bedrooms (including the base of the narrow fitted wardrobes).Whilst discussing the details of the job, Mr Caffrey made assurances that if he started on the Thursday, he would be done by the Saturday that directly followed. This was perfect as it allowed us to schedule the decorators, plumbers etc with certainty and have the work completed in time for moving day.In the first instance, Caffrey got in touch to say he had covid. He then attended the house the following Saturday, laid the flooring in every required room (apart from inside the wardrobes - the floors were to be laid in continuation so no bars or dividers required between rooms).He promised once more that he would be in to complete the job by last Saturday but has yet to appear or get in touch.Not only is Kyle Caffrey not a joiner, but he cannot complete the job due to 'not doing skirtings'. This admission only came once the skirtings had been removed and rendered unusable and he was asked when he would be putting skirtings back up. Not to mention the fact that, if not for Kyle's failure to keep his word, we would not have had to reschedule other labourers to work around him.£850 for Caffreys handiwork, and due to the skirting boards being left in shoddy shape, extra had to be paid out for new boards and subsequently hire a qualified joiner to measure, cut and paint them before affixing them in place.Contrary to the assurances made, the work required and the moving process itself was delayed by a full week.It was requested by the owner of Caffrey Flooring that only 5 star reviews be left on the business page or not to bother leaving one.For a young man trying to build a reputable business, he sure likes to cut corners.I've given a 3 star which being generous.

Kyle helped us install engineered wood flooring to replace our suspended timber floors. He was fantastic. Cordial and hard working, and always kept us up to date with progress. He got back to us very quickly with quotes and answered all questions very promptly. He was priced very reasonably and his input into the design and layout of the floor was fantastic. The floors he has put in have changed the whole vibe of the apartment! It looks so bright and modern now, and I would not have any trouble in recommending Kyle to others.

They were very communicative - easy to make the arrangement with, turned up on time, let us know on one day that they'd be a little late due to traffic. Did a good job.

I would highly recommend Kyle who recently installed vinyl click flooring throughout my flat. Excellent service was provided right through from quote (within only a few days from my initial inquiry) to final completion. Having taken time to discuss my requirements Kyle was able to offer valuable suggestions in relation to the appropriate flooring and connecting door bar type/colour. Excellent communication throughout, and Kyle worked very hard to get the job finished. The end result exceeded my expectations - really transforming the look and feel of the flat. Brilliant job, top quality service and no hesitation to recommend.

Kyle arrived at the time stated and had collected the flooring for us. Fast, clean, efficient service. Flooring was laid beautifully. Excellent attention to detail and finishing touches were perfection. Kyle did a wonderful job and left the place immaculate. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

Kyle has done an amazing job of laying my laminate in my hallway, very professional, efficient and makes sure it is done to a high standard. I would highly recommend him to anyone, 5 stars all round

Kyle got in touch with me within an hour of posting my requirements on Team Bark. After listening to previous bad experience he submitted a written quote with everything needed listed. He arrived 2 days later at time arranged. Living room completed in one day which included moving furniture about. He returned next day and hall completed. He was a pleasant, communicative young man who made a fantastic job of fitting my new engineered hardwood flooring. Tidy and hardworking and very helpful with putting flat back to rights. Would recommend in a heartbeat. Shame he doesn't decorate as well !
