Good petrol stop off with a Shell select shop and Budgens.Has an ATM machine, Costa express and plenty of pumps

Always use this garage until received a parking ticket due to their tyre pressure machine was out of order and our tyre was to low to drive car so had to wait for a friend.Now being told we have to prove their machine wasn't working.Be careful of parking fines while using their services

Just received a parking fine of £100 which has no discount rate, due to a long queue for the car wash. Disgraceful that they consider the car wash queue as part of the forecourt, and will fine you even if you're in the car and moving. Avoid unless you want to pay £100 for a very mediocre car wash!I spoke to Shell as they reached out with the comment on this review. They haven't done anything to resolve this, and simply stated that if we use the car wash we cannot queue to use it without incuring a fine as it is signposted, so take their reply with a pinch of salt.

Pulled in to get my company vehicle Jet washed, I was purely on a mission to do this as it was truly filthy as I got stuck in mud on Ashdown forest, anyway pulled up to the jet wash, it was busy..queued and paid the cashier for my Jet wash, went to van and sat and waited a good 10 plus minutes to wash it, about a month later received a fine for over staying..£100 yes a £100. I appealed which failed even though i produced the receipt for the reason i was there, i am not going to leave it there its daylight robbery, ive just lost my Mum so probably my mind wasnt completely on the ball what with work etc....i'll seek further guidance! But will totally boycott this thieving place! 20 minutes maximum stay beware !!!!

Husband received a final notice letter demanding £100 for stopping for more than 20 mins (even though he didn't stop for that long). He's never had an initial letter, and uses the same petrol station weekly. He wont anymore! Scam scam scam! Disgraceful.

Parking charge rip-off. Signage is totally inadequate for a MAXIMUM OF 20 MINS stay. It is a TINY sign AFTER the turn off, where your eyes need to be looking for other vehicles moving about. It is not even long enough to visit the toilet, walk the dogs buy something to eat and fill up with fuel. Driving a motorhome that was almost out, filling the tank itself is 5 minutes! The staff could have even mentioned it when I bought my coffee, prior to the dog walk and then I would have been out of there, but I expect they've been ordered not to tell anyone. Also, FIRST LETTER was a final demand" of £100. Despicable business practice and a perfect example of "greedflation"."

Tried to use the Airline to pump up my tyres - Firstly the payment machine for cards refused to work but there was no signage on the pump to inform of an issue but when I discussed it with the shop they then informed me it was not working for cards (this was the 2nd staff member i spoke to - the 1st guy had no idea of anything wrong) I then went to use the hole in the wall card machine to get some cash out to use coins but that was not working either - it was out of order!!What a nightmare!

After a bad experience at the Travelodge the staff member who dealt with me was very pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful when I went back to ask for information. Thank you very much for helping me get summat out of the ordeal!Edit - I don't understand the reply to be honest. I gave you five stars and was praising your employee!

You expect higher prices but £4 for a bottle of pepsi max is simply pure greed
