Hookpit Farm Caravan Site

We had a fabulous stay at hookpit farm. It was so peaceful and plenty of room. Will definitely return to this wonderful place again.

It was brilliant. Fantastic views. Great weather. A very small site but very reasonable rates. Definitely go again.

We stayed three days at this gem of a site, while visiting Winchester Christmas market. the location was perfect, there's a fabulous pub with great food and service just ten minutes walk away, opposite the pub is the bus stop to Winchester.The site itself is a well kept, firm grass field (we were 3.8t on wet grass with no problem at all) with water, waste disposal, and EHU. all for a price that's very rare these days.The site has fabulous views day and night.There is a beautiful dog walk just a few minutes down the road along an old railway track (track removed 1940's)Harry, the manager, was great, communicative and helpful.This is definitely a hidden gem.

Very convenient for a stop from Leeds, excellent position and a great pub with food down the hill in the village, 20mins stroll. Very quiet position and the field a bit soft after alit of rain when we stayed in late March. All facilities clean and tidy too. Recommend.

Our stay at Hookpit Farm was absolutely fantastic. We received a warm welcome, and our four-legged companions were just as comfortable as we were. This serene and roomy spot provides all the essentials, from electricity to fresh drinking water and a handy bin. We're eagerly anticipating our next visit to this delightful place and would like to express our sincere thanks to the kind owner for their exceptional hospitality.

Sadly, we're about to leave Hookpit Farm after a 10 day stay. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here; easy access to Winchester and also to lovely countryside. The site is large, with open views and is amazingly peaceful, considering the proximity of the M3 and railway. We shall certainly visit again. This could become one of our favourite CLs.

We enjoyed our stay of 3nts in September, easy entrance through gate once we got the code. Plenty of room with great views, cycling from Hookpit Farm Caravan site gives us a verity of different routes. The King Charles Pub does a very good Sunday lunch.

This is a great little site. Great place for dog lovers! Quiet and secure in country location with great walks along the old disused Newbury railway line and beyond. Shops, pubs and buses into Winchester within easy walking distance. We’ve stayed here a great deal over the past months and can highly recommend. Will definitely stay again soon!!
