Classical Ballet Studios

My daughter is 16 and has been attending this studio since she was 9. She was first coming to take classes to receive extra training in ballet to compliment her dance preparation for competitions, but then she decided to focus entirely on ballet because she enjoyed ballet classes at these studios so much. Teachers are very professional but also nurturing and supportive which is very important for young girls. There are many opportunities to take part in shows organised each term and children are trained to take exams on regular basis. Thanks to the training offered by school my daughter successfully auditioned for associate positions at Tring Park and Urdang Academy.

Julia and her team are thorough, they know exactly how to improve every single students technique as well as the expectations of parents. Having come from a professional dance background myself I can certainly say my daughter’s experience here has made ALL the difference. This school not only teaches the discipline of Ballet but allows them to perform and enhance in other areas of dance and rhythmic gymnastics. My 9 year old has achieved above all expectations winning Gold at the London Championships in 2022 as well as receiving 40/40 for the dance aptitude test at Mill Hill County High School. The school offers amazing opportunity to attend high standard ballet lessons for children in Barnet area.My son has been attending ballet classes with Julia since he was 4 years old. He started more to explore what he really is interested in and as parents we hoped it will help him with posture, as a minimum. He achieved what we have never even dreamt of and from September he is starting his secondary school in the Royal Ballet School (White Lodge). This huge achievement is thanks to his ballet teacher’s commitment to each child as individual. The classes offered are very well organised, with appropriate discipline that teaches children respect and love for dance, music and the teacher. Frequent honest feedback and positive encouragement meant we could work on specific areas as required which resulted in consistent improvements.As a parent I have always appreciated teachers who are honest about child ability and are working with them to help them develop and reach their full potential and in Russian Ballet Studios you can expect that.We have enjoyed coming to classes, watching performances, and shared exams excitements with teachers, children and parents.Fantastic and professional teachers.The school is simply excellent !

I personally tried a lot of ballet schools in North London for my daughter but none of them are on the same level as Classical Ballet Studio. This is simply the best ballet school. A big thank you goes to all teachers, but especially to Julia, the principal of the school. When I met Julia for the first time, I knew straight away that she is a very professional teacher. She is one of those teachers, who not only help children to achieve high grades but she also shares her love of ballet with them. Julia is a very talented and inspiring teacher, who always acts in the interest of children. I would highly recommend the school to anyone who is looking for ballet lessons in North London.

My 9 year old daughter started attending the Classical Ballet school 4 years ago, just before the pandemic. Julia and Ellie supported her first steps in ballet, and not only inspired her through online classes and workshops, but later welcomed her to face to face classes, helping her find her own identity and expression through ballet. My daughter runs to every class, looking forward to learning more about new techniques, styles, and most importantly about the way she can express herself through dance. She is learning to make mistakes and learn from them in a safe and encouraging environment. Her self-confidence has escalated tremendously, mostly thanks to her teachers' ability to inspire and lift her motivation up in every class. MY daughter tries to attend most holiday camps and has recently joined folk dance classes in addition to classical ballet training, too- which she absolutely adores!As a parent, I receive timely feedback, as well as helpful training advice and videos that my daughter can watch, if she wants to continue practicing at home. Thank you, Julia and team, for being the place where my daughter has found connection to her inner light, talent and some amazing like-minded friends. There is no other place like your studio.

My eldest daughter has started the ballet with Julia 5 years ago. She loved it instantly. Julia is very professional, kind and she has a great passion for dance. She implemented the same love for ballet to my daughter and now she has been admitted into Royal Ballet. My second daughter has just started ballet classes and after 2 terms we can see a huge improvement not only into dance itself, but attitude and behaviour. Julia is always supportive and although the Covid affected her business, she always put the children and families first and was a constant into our lives. I have recommended Julia to a few friends and they are all very happy and the feedback was always positive. I cannot recommend Julia well enough.

Classical Ballet Studios has been part of our lives for 11 years now and is definitely a special place for my daughter.I’ve seen her progress from being a 3 years old little girl who simply liked to dance, to a young dancer who is passionate about ballet performance and also choreography.My daughter's love and passion for dance is continuesly growing because she is constantly inspired and nurtured by her teachers here at the Classical Ballet Studios.Julia, the principal of the school, and her team are accomplished and committed instructors who make the school's environment simultaneously professional and homely. My daughter has been attending this ballet studio for several years now. They are very professional and organised as well as passionate about what they teach. Students of this studio regularly get admitted to Royal Ballet Junior Associate and other programs, receive scholarships and places based on dance discipline in highly competitive schools. Excellent ballet school!The school provides an excellent education in ballet, and my daughters have both love their lessons and achieve excellent results. Julia and the other teachers are very skilled in capturing students' attention and bringing out the best in them.
