What a shambles and no use of a brain within the staff including manager who couldn’t be bothered to come out and speak to me! Asked to give me a bit of help loading the car( back pain issues)... staff simply saying: we were told not to help! They might be stocked well but service is horrible. I did click and collect and it’s easy if you know what you are getting. What a circus. It was only laminate box not a bag of stones

Useful trade" store. No real frills but generally good pricing. Has most of the essentials for trade users and keen DIYers. Close to Homebase if additional things are required but the stocked range is quite extensive."

Staff too busy having a chat rather than serving customers.Lack of staff in the bathroom department

Awful customer service!!! We had 3 appointment cancellation because they said the bathroom designer was ill which is understandable. On our 3rd appointment we were not even on their list. I asked for a bit of consideration because they are the ones who rebooked us and I took the day off for the appointment but they said no they cannot give us a few mins just to look at the design. They are awful! The need to change how they do things.

Nonprofessional, unfriendly St Albans branch kitchen design manager and team, awful customer service!We have ordered another white kitchen units to match the exiting kitchen units which were installed last year. However, the dark coloured kitchen have been delivered, unfortunately installed by independent builders. the staff who was responsible for the mistakes didn’t replied any of my emails. The worse thing was , the manager lied and bullied me by saying the wrong colour has been chosen and told me go away. Then I have contacted customer services , the guy told me to file complaint through Wickes’ website over the phone . After I filed up the form and a long wait, the customer service team told me that they could not do anything ,they forwarded the complaint to St Albans branch manger. After one month, still no reply from anybody.Where is the consumer rights? I may have to go to the court to get justice.

A good hardware shop. Clean, tidy and well laid out. A good range of products, especially for the amateur like myself.It's quiet as well, the staff are very helpful. I'm happy to use this shop and recommend it.

All good, covid safe and had what I wanted in stock. Only slight complaint was website wouldn't let me reserve items due to supposedly 2 man lift, which they weren't but loads of stock at shop so not a wasted journey.

Terrible service to help you to design/buy a kitchen and bathroom. They cancel the appoiments and never get back. They came to measure but impossible to have an appoiment after. So unreliable!! I do not bother to continue with them!

Nice and quiet at the time I went only thing is that the trolleys are not toddler friendly

Always seems to be pretty well stocked. Most staff seem quite miserable (not all), but that's probably my fault because I'm not very pretty to look at. One day I'll brave some man makeup, but I'm not ready yet.
