The Sea King is a family run fishmonger. My wife and I have been using them for quite some time. It is important to be able to trust your fishmonger this is an example of one you can. They source their fish from Fleetwood. Some of the flat fish of late has been exceptional. lemon sole from the hebrides even better than the cornish caught fish they had in earlier this year. Big firm fleshed bright fresh plaice.They do sell the best natural smoked haddock you can find and I have compared it to some that has purported to be the legendary output of food heroes.I regularly bump into Warren away from the stall, we frequent a couple of the same pubs, so it is natural if I describe him as friendly. He is also knowledgeable about his products, and will tell you where the fish was caught. He will try to get fish he does not normally stock and won't get it if he feels it is too expensive or not of the right quality.

Absolutely love the amount of choice available and that the staff can always guide you when you’re struggling on what to cook, great cooking advice and the prawns are to die for!

Was speaking to the owner was absolutely polite as could be had a bit of a laugh got a piece of salmon of him already marinated and it was quality don't realy have a lot of fish but the owd doctors told me start eatin more it was one of the best teas I've had for adges few new potatoes asparagus went down a treat carnt wait till next time
