B7 Driver Training

From start to finish Ben was flawless, i had never drove before and within a very short period of time was confident and comfortable driving with him guiding me along the way. He was professional, funny and extremely supportive when I was going through problems outside the lessons which I couldn’t be more grateful for, as a driving instructor he is phenomenal and as a person he is someone who truly has your best interests at heart. I will and would recommend him to anyone who wishes to drive, I do not believe you will find anyone better than Ben!!!

Ben has trained me from that start and has been nothing but fantastic. Very easy to talk to and takes real care in getting the needs for all drivers. It’s been a really enjoyable experience learning and getting to know him. Fully recommend learning to drive or retraining with Ben

I passed my first driving test today with Ben after being retrained from a previous driver in Widnes and where do I begin… Ben is amazing! Ben’s previous training in teaching academically shines through his approach to teaching people how to drive. His targets, patience, individuality all combined with a constant push to do better, defiantly makes Ben a niche in this market! Nothing I had experienced before, made me feel welcome, comfortable and gave me the qualities to not just pass but feel confident as a driver going forward. Absolutely chuffed, I passed with Ben after starting with him from day one. He made me feel so calm while I was learning. His relaxed yet professional approach was perfect for me to achieve my driving goals to an absolute optimum level. I can now say that the oyster that is the world has now opened thanks to Ben! I passed with Ben recently and I can’t thank him enough. He is a great instructor or who helped me boost my confidence as someone who started very anxious when driving. His lesson structure helped me track my own progress and see where i needed to improve moving forward.

I passed my driving test today, third time with Ben. I have generalised anxiety disorder and often struggle with hand to eye coordination and multitasking. I thought that due to this, I would never be able to drive and when I started lessons with Ben I’d never been behind the wheel before and had no confidence.Ben made this no issue. We knew our biggest challenge would be my anxiety and managing my nerves.Ben has a very calm demeanour and a structured approach to teaching, tailoring his lessons to suit the individual.I had many personal setbacks during my journey of learning to drive but Ben was patient with me and with his encouragement, support and guidance, week by week he built my confidence not only with driving but also personally, he massively helped me with my self esteem and for that I couldn’t thank him enough. Ben has a background in teaching and coaching and this really shines through. He always had a joke to tell or a funny comment to make, turning a bad day around in minutes and not dwelling on what went wrong but focusing on how to improve. I will genuinely miss our chats Ben and your wicked sense of humour.I couldn’t recommend Ben enough, particularly if like me you have anxiety or ADHD. Ben is an excellent driving instructor and a great person to be around. I came to him after having a poor experience with another driving instructor, and when my confidence with driving was very low. I was a nervous driver who made many errors. Within a few weeks of Ben's professional, well thought-out teaching I was able to drive with both confidence and proficiency. He would go through topics and break them down, and give structure to my driving that I didn't have before. This allowed me to get up to the standard required for testing quickly. He created a calm atmosphere in the car where I felt like I could ask him anything - something which greatly helped my progress. Overall, I'd like to thank Ben for being an excellent teacher, and would highly recommend him.

Ben is such an excellent driving instructor. I’ve learnt with Ben from the start and at the start I was such a nervous driver and with bens professional teaching I was able to exceed in my learning. He will go through a lot of thing and if there is anything I didn’t understand we would go through it until I understood what was happening. He has supported me through everything whilst driving and I am very greatful. Thank you to Ben and I would highly highly recommend learning to drive with him.
