We have eaten here three times in the last 9 months and have never been disappointed.All ages are welcome and that includes dogs which was important to us. The surrounding views and coutryside are the best in England in my opinion. The Culbone sits high up on Exmoor at 400 metres and there is a lovely scenic walk to Robbers Bridge starting from the car park, which takes about an hour. The food is very good and much of it from the Exmoor area. Expect to pay about £25 per head for two courses and a drink, which isn't cheap but reperesents good value for the quality of food and cooking.

A fabulous find !! Open from March until September. A very warm welcome.Good quality accommodation.Great food!!! I would recommend booking one of the special nights or the tasting menu.We were very well looked after by Hannah, Gabby and Merrick .

Lovely room with king sized bed, excellent restaurant, book in advance as it is very popular, cozy, friendly, good views and very friendly staff. 10/10

Booked for a 21st birthday a month in advance, was left a voice message at 9pm the night before saying our booking was to be cancelled because we were the only table. No apology offered and too late notice to book anywhere else. We were offered a table for the Saturday (rather than the Friday) but we had organised time off work on the Friday, and I was visiting from London for only the Friday night, there was no appreciation of any of this. When I phoned to explain the situation I was rudely told that customers cancel on us last minute

Bumped in favour of a double booked" shooting party some time after reserving. Now unable to get suitable alternatives - Tread carefully if you don't want your Anniversary to be spoilt by such rude behaviour."
