The drink menu is brilliant, lots of different options, and really fairly priced. But, there are only about 6 arcade machines, about 2 of which were working. So, as a cocktail bar it's excellent. As an arcade bar it's not good.

FOLKS! DO THE KARAOKE NIGHT WITH FRIENDS/FAMILY! I can't recommend it enough- me and my friends got together and went for a 80s Christmas theme in the private rental of the karaoke room- the tech was great, straightforward and I can't get over how amazing and helpful the staff were. I didn't catch the guys' name who was hosting us, but they came up every 15 mins or so to take our orders and the drinks kept flowing- we were treated so well! We even had a bit of the tab left so they suggested shots for everybody, which we ended on a high. Left after the 2 hours to go downstairs to play some video games, drink dance & laugh. Thank you Cuckoo for your hospitality definitely on my list to go again! :)

Booked Karaoke and it was great. Private room for 2 hours. Brilliant service from bar man and plenty of cocktails to chose from. I would definitely recommend. As its a student bar the only downside was the toilets they were a bit below par

Good spot for a few drinks. Work currently being undertaken to extend the smoking area facilities up the stairs (mini beer garden which is badly needed for the good weather)... Think they are calling it there Phase 2"... And game machines were brought back in which is a plus."

Been here quite a few times with different groups of friends.Brilliant Guinness from the tap, and if you're not a fan of that their alcoholic slushies are brilliant too. You can choose from a good few that they have chosen or you can even choose to mix different slushie flavours together.Their shot paddles are always fun for large groups varying from 6,12,18 shots. These are easy shots to have, not sure what they are but there were blue, green, red and dark red shots.They sometimes have different events on such as Disney nights and they're always great fun. They will alternate the theme songs with normal songs that they would put on and they have an arcade with guitar hero and that is always a highlight.

Was excited to go for karaoke night but was disappointed. I used the app to put myself in the queue early but hours passed and I never got to sing. The karaoke screen in the bar showed the order in which people were up next to sing and new names kept getting added in front of me. I triple and quadruple checked the app and it kept saying I was in the queue at Cuckoo on lisburn so I knew I had the right place. App also said how many singers were ahead of you and the number kept going up while still saying I was in the queue. Nobody was able to assist me to get me in the queue. The other thing I was excited about was to play some arcade games but some of the machines took my money and then didn’t work and wouldn’t give my money back. There was no indication of the machines being out of order and so I simply lost my money. Cocktail was good and not as expensive as other bars in the area I’ve been to so I’ll give 2 stars but still extremely disappointed.

I booked the karaoke lounge earlier this year for an event, I was then let known with less than a months notice that they were cancelling my reservation and refunding my deposit due to the lounge being closed for the month of August.I don't understand when it was already mostly booked out from other customers that they couldn't keep the old building going and then move to the new building in September as they had planned. It has completely ruined the plan now as August is the busiest time of year and everything is booked up. This means that everyone else in August also got their reservation cancelled and possibly ruined a lot of other events for other people. Absolutely terrible customer service.
