Can't speak highly enough about the customer service at AMC.We travelled down to view a VW T28 (around a two and three quarter hour drive). We were shown round the van and had a test drive. Happy with it, we put a deposit down and left a list of minor niggles which Alex agreed would be fixed. As it was almost Christmas we arranged to pick the van up after the Xmas 2022 break.We travelled down by train to collect it and everything went smoothly until we drove away. No power, and belching black smoke out of the exhaust.We immediately went back to AMC with it. They were very apologetic and Amanda was very sympathetic and supportive, but as it was a Saturday there was no mechanic on site to look at it. We faced another rail journey home and another to collect it when it was remedied.However Geoff told us not to worry, he would have it looked at first thing on the Monday morning. He then gave us a lift to the rail station and told us to forward the receipt and AMC would refund the cost of the rail journey.Monday morning came and I got the promised phone call; the issue with lack of power and black smoke had been caused by a pipe on the rear of the turbo being disturbed during service and timing belt replacement (although the timing belt had been replaced not too long ago they still replaced it as part of the pre-delivery service which gives further reassurance). This was fixed swiftly.Rather than us trek down on the train again, Geoff delivered the van to our home free of charge later that week. We are delighted with Maggie (the van's new name) and can't wait for our first trip when the weather is a little warmer.Would definitely use AMC again and would highly recommend them.Thanks again,George and Shirley.

We purchased our first ever motorhome (Pilote P626D Evidence) from AMC Motorhomes. From the first initial telephone contact through to collection of the vehicle Alex and his team provided an excellent customer service.Given we were travelling from Devon to initally view the vehicle it was suggested that we secure the viewing with a refundable deposit to avoid a wasted very long journey. This was good advice, as we would have disappointed had we lost out. We would have no hesitation in recommending AMC and even if they are not local to you, it is definitely worth the effort to make the journey.On the day of collection we travelled by Hire Car and a big thank you goes to Amanda who picked us up from Uckfield. As part of the handover from Alex, videos of the vehicle set up were sent. These have been invaluable and are good to have as a refresh.This was our very first motorhome so we stayed overnight at a local campsite, just in case we had any issues. We did have some minor issues however these were due to us having no motorhome experience, nothing to do with the vehicle or handover. A couple of phones call to Alex and these issues were soon resolved. Alex was extremely patient with us, nothing was too much trouble.We are extremely pleased with the service we received from AMC and our choice of motorhome. It is now a month since we purchased and we have been away in the motorhome for most of this period. Thank you to the team at AMC Motorhomes

Alex was absolutely brilliant, he gave us the keys to to the van, left us to have a good look around, a great local dealer, looked after us very well, and answered all the questions asked of him, nothing was was a problem, would recommend AMC to anyone looking at purchasing a Motorhome….

Perfect bargain deal on my camper van, AMC arranged finance , Sent full video of the van as I'm at opposite end of the country , perfectly described vehicle , I arrived it was all valeted , serviced and cambelt changed etc . Cannot fault them at all . 1st class

Airstream restoration: we used AMC to restore our 1954 Flying Cloud. With Alex and team you get professional advice, creative flair and quality workmanship. What we have is an Airstream we love and we are thrilled with the end results. Highly recommended

A ‘First Class’ company with friendly, professional & helpful staff that we’ve used for many years.We’ve bought and sold motorhomes through them over many years, had our habitation checks completed, warranty work carried out and purchased various accessories from them, such as solar panel, TV ariels etc. They've always been really helpful with their advice and are always extremely professional. We happily travel 80 miles from Windsor to use them.We would always choose AMC first and we highly recommend them!

Went with family who are considering upgrading their Bongo. Good amount of stock to look at and all open to look around inside. Staff were present to assist, but not at all pushy.Would recommend a look here if you are looking for a motorhome.We've recently bought a camper, so not in the market.

Dear AlexThought i would put pen to paper to explain our experiences since the Unibrake System was fitted by John, back in 2016.To date we have travelled over 40 thousand miles with our little Citron C1 chasing us, firstly behind our Bessecarr 496, then after your effortless transfer to our new Pilote G740C.We have travelled extensively throughout Europe and Asia (Turkey) for the last 6 years with our little mate following us, at times even forgetting he's there. we have been on motorways highways,lanes, tracks, some seriously crazy mountain passes and some adventures which I'm to embarrassed to admit too, but suffice to say, thank you to that little Italian lady that pointed out, the road ahead was wide enough for a bike,and the chap in Serbia who asked if we were going camping in the field at the end of the lane.First time we took the combination abroad, i was expecting the worse at Calais customs, nope, smile and wave through. Two days later in a German motorway service area, approached by an officious looking terminator in uniformasking about weights of van, car and wanting to see the vehicle docs, to leave 5 minutes later asking where he could get one (an Avid motor homer).First few times were a little interesting to say the least, squeaky bum time when passing local gendarme, to occasionally be stopped, with the usual questions on weights vehicle documents etc, then to be waved on with a smile when the system was explained. As the years have progressed we have been accustomed to the odd stop by local authorities, and have got used to the answers and have left with some admiring comments on many occasions.6 years and 40 thousand miles into our adventures, I can look back at our experiences with towing with an AFrame and honestly say, it was the best decision we have made regards making our travels more accessible and ultimately more enjoyable.RegardsPhil & Liz

Bought my first motorhome from AMC. Geoff was great. Alex was very helpful when we wanted some questions answered after trailing the use of the motorhome. Have returned in recent weeks to get an estimate for some internal works. Won't be taking my motorhome to AMC as the quote is vague and the greeting isn't as nice as the sales department.
