Spearywell Wood Car Park
A lovely place for a walk but vehicles there can be the target for thieves looking for your valuables or, my case, my diesel can. 5stars for the location but only giving 3 cos if the risk of theft.

Really beautiful wood. Parking is not huge but it's a quiet spot so there are always spaces. It is all very contained and difficult to get lost. It's magical really: the bluebells this season were scattered everywhere and the trees had never looked so green!

Its a carpark. Clean, good signs, decent amount of space. Could do with a sign earlier down the road for people who dont know its there

Spearywell Wood Car Park
I love walking at Spearywell. This morning I went for sunrise on a very frosty morning (-4°c) and it was absolutely glorious. The paths are easy to follow, there is a map in the car park but I found komoot worked just fine. I had the dogs with me this morning, which limited the time and route I could take but even so, the birds were plenty and we saw a buck.
