went for Rock and Roll bingo Saturday night and the atmosphere was lovely! The Christmas tree was decorated beautifully too. We was served by Khloe, Jayne and Jack who were very friendly and comforting. The food was quick, hot and very yummy. Will be visiting again, thank you for a lovely night :)

We had a lovely family meal together.The staff greeted us with a lovely warm welcome and we were quickly shown to our table. After ordering we didn't wait very long at all for our food. We had expected to wait a while as it was very busy, so we were very impressed.The food was cooked very well amd was delicious.All of the staff were very helpful, friendly and kind, which made our meal out all the more enjoyable.

Was very disappointed with the food and service. Not only was the food not what we order, which was an upgraded hunter's chicken, we got a salad instead of fries and onion rings, the salad was days old, limp and wilting. When staff were approached they just gave us a tray of chips with a promise onion rings were being cooked as we speak(still waiting for them). Also a claim of lashings of barbecue sauce which there was none and when pointed out i was given a bottle of sauce. I managed to grab a manager(well a member of staff left in charge) while she was passing and asked would she be happy with what we had been served she said no. Gave us a refund and explained she had just started there and kitchen staff do as they please. The ace is tired and mismatched. Warn carpets with duck tape on. We were given a refund but won't be going again. Other customers were complaining and receiving refunds also.

First time visiting this pub again for food in roughly 9/10 years and wasn't disappointed. Granted it wasn't too busy when we went but service was very quick and friendly from both the waitress and the bar staff. Food was cooked lovely and tasted great. Pub was nice to sit in. 100% recommend a visit.

Came for a Sunday dinner as the pub was highly recommended. The portions were amazing for the price £10.50 extra £2 for a large can’t go wrong. Amazing service of the new managers Neil and Jayne. Neil who served on the bar and Jayne and Chloe serving food such polite staff. Will definitely be back next Sunday!

Wasn't expecting much after seeing some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The menu is nothing earth shattering, just standard pub fare, but everything came out hot, at the same time, and well presented. We went for the ultimate chicken burger and the vegan fried cauliflower. Both decent sized meals and good value for money.

Nicely spaced tables, bit of a wait for food but didn't mind if cooked from scratch, my husbands fish & chips was nice but my grilled tomato was freezing & medium rare steak was not even pink when I cut it. I ate it anyway as we would have had to wait again. Not unpleasant but no one asked if we enjoyed our meal not even when they took our plates.

Called in for lunch. Atmosphere good and friendly staff. Hubby had Chicken Tikka and I had burger and fries. Our order came quickly and it was piping hot. Taste and presentation was very good. Spoke to Anna and Gary and as always they are both friendly and professional. Compliments to the new chef.

Been my local pub for 4 years now, keep retrying the food every so often, hoping it has changed, but no... This evening, ordered an...ULTIMATE VEGGIE BURGER! A deep-fried sweetcorn and Croxton Manor Cheddar burger. Topped with salsa and BBQ cauliflower wings smothered in a nacho cheese sauce. Caution
