St Paul’s Eye Unit

A firm believer in feeding back, I'd like to praise the staff at St Paul's Eye Hospital. Having had a motor accident and sustaining a detached retina, I was very anxious and unsure what to expect.From arrival through to now (I'm still under review), genuinely everyone had been so professional and sympathetic. From the front of house or reception at the A&E to the nurses and doctors involved. I'm gutted I can't remember his name, but the VR doctor I saw on Tuesday evening was amazing. It was obvious he was passionate for his job, but his sympathy in dealing my nervousness around eye surgery had me at ease before I left the room. Also, a huge thank you to Aruni (VR doctor), Costas my surgeon, and Steven the HCA.I hope I never need to see you again, but if so, I'd be more than happy to come back here.

I wish to thank ALL of the day shift working today (08/12/2023) for your hard work and dedication you are a credit to the NHS. Especially Dr Nardeo Singh. Thank you again.

Went today 17.6.23 and just had to leave an honest review. Every member of staff, from check in to nurse specialist, HCAs and students alike were all amazing. Super friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Taking time to explain things and have a laugh along the way. In and out within an hour, with treatment. It’s rare the NHS gets praised at the moment. But this department was definitely worth a 5 star review!

Thanks to the team at St Paul's for their brilliant service and expertise. I had wanted to get my eyes lasered for a few years now and finally decided to go for it. The team talked me through the procedure and what would be involved, as well as taking time to check I was fully eligible. They explained the aftercare process in detail and I felt at ease wit the Eye Unit having such a strong reputation and being associated to the NHS, although the surgery is private.After struggling with poor vision from my early teens, I now have 20/20 vision and this is only one week after surgery. A special mention to Steph and Dr Ahmad who helped me make this life-changing decision, if you're thinking of laser eye surgery, go for it and make sure you choose St Paul's.

Mr Saeed and Mr Chesseman are truly amazing and are a credit to this unit. I wish them all the very best of health and happiness, and hope that this review gets delivered to them
