Me and my Friend have been coming into Wrecking Ball for just over a year, and the service just keeps getting better and better.Very Friendly staff, always up for a chat and very polite.To make the experience even better the atmosphere is amazing and the food and drink is incredible, would highly recommend.

WB has become a regular place to visit as the bands who play there have shown to be consistently good.Even the bands I take a punt on that I haven't previously heard of have provided some really good nights out.Worth a visit!

Awesome indie shop in Hull city centre, a type of establishment desperately missing from the heart of many towns and cities these days.Huge collection of vinyl records, as well as DVDs, cassettes, and am eclectic section for books further in. At the back is a lovely cafe and hang out space.There used to be an open mic session at 2pm on certain days; double check with the establishment to see if this is still going on - yet another feature for the creative side of life that is all but extinct.

I regularly visit this store, it's definitely one of the most reasonably priced records shops I've come across and they always have something new! I also love the broad range of products, for example the selection of cassettes. Additionally, the cafe is very nice too.

Wrecking Ball Music and Books
It's a great place to find some used records if you're prepared to dig all day and sift through the mire. New releases galore, a very healthy section, of all genres. The staff are happy and helpful, it doesn't take away thr pleasure of coming n here. Jazz heads and rock aficionados well catered for. Bug on current pop tastes. There is a huge range of independent books for sale, and a nice cafe at the back. Can't comment on the performance space as I haven't been in there, but its a busy venue I understand, check the website.

Love to come and browse when I get chance and have good selection of rock/pop, Only thing I would say is I wish you had a better selection of Jazz i.e. Tone Poets, Blue note classic, Riverside, Impulse, contemporary British, etc. Personally I don't buy those cheap DOL reissues.
