I have Asian hair and expected to get a better haircut by an Asian hairdresser. Unfortunately, I left feeling that for the price that I paid, the haircut wasn't worth it.I usually go for a simple men's undercut and wanted a clean finish on the sides and at the top. However, with the way that they cut my hair, it was only somewhat clean at the top. On the sides, it was conspicuously uneven (my sister immediately noticed that during a video call and she didn't even see the entire haircut to make that comment).Overall, I had high hopes but was a little let down and will get my hair fixed elsewhere.

I’ve been here several times and have gotten haircuts from different stylists. They were all great. I think if you have Asian hair and you want someone who knows how to cut it then this is the right place.The place is clean, and the stylists are very polite and friendly.

I had my hair chemically straightened and cut in the downstairs area of the salon.The hairdresser was great! She was very attentive and focused on every detail when treating my hair. I was feeling extremely hot and stuffy and the hairdresser turned on the AC and bought me a cup of water to allow me to feel more comfortable, which I really appreciated. My hair looks amazing, healthy and just the way I wanted it. Will definitely come back in the future :)

Decided to try a different Asian hair salon as my usual one is getting a bit too expensive, and this certainly will become my regular salon to go to! Great service, lovely stylist and not to mention very affordable compared to many other Asian salons around London!Located very conveniently not far from Baker Street, this salon actually looks bigger than it seems with further seats at the basement where I was seated as I am having a long appointment with hair cut + full head colouring. Sakura is my hairstylist for the day and she took her time finding out what I want, and giving me good suggestions about the colours. It was a very relaxing experience and I was offered hot tea while I waited for the colouring to settle.The hair wash is another highlight in which I was given a nice head massage and a hot towel was placed underneath my neck at the end of the wash which felt great. Happy about the results too and I’ve been recommending this to all my friends since then!

First time cutting my hair here and it was a really pleasant experience! The stylist listened to everything I asked for, and gave recommendations while being considerate and helpful. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience! I will definitely be back.

I had a last minute booking and had to rearrange it a few time, the staff were very accommodating to my request. Misaki was my hairstylist and she was the best hairstylist I have had in London. She was attentive and listened to all the preferences I would like. She understood my need very well and ask more questions which normally most hairstylist would not be bother, just to fully understand the condition of my hair, and applied the best method to suit my need. Great communication and very friendly, understanding. I could not recommend Misaki more and I highly recommend her service.

I recently had my hair cut by Sakura at J. Moriyama who was very friendly and professional. I described the type of cut that I wanted and she cut my hair exactly the way I wanted :) It also feels much healthier than before - excellent salon!
