Pride Road Architects New Forest & Bournemouth

We have recently completed a kitchen and utility extension with the support of Laura & the Pride Road team she helped us bring our dreams and ideas to life. The workshop was incredible useful and enabled us to work through our ideas, but equally show us a few different options with five potential designs for the project. Laura helped guide us through the process from the planning application and recommending a suitable and trustworthy builder. We are delighted with the completed project, which has transformed our home and created a positive daily living space. We will definitely use Laura and Pride Road again if we have a future project, she was incredibly professional and efficient and we would therefore recommend her to family and friends.

Laura was excellent from start to finish. She really understood our brief and designed an extension and loft conversion that we love.

A really unique opportunity that provided many creative and professional proposals for our new home. Laura helped show how different layouts could enhance our family living, with scaling options that allowed us to decide the extent of the changes we’d like to make. Our workshop was delivered online, but the sessions still felt very personal and we efficiently worked through numbers of ideas within the time period.

Having spent endless hours debating what we should or shouldn’t/could or couldn’t do to make our house work better for us and getting nowhere we decided to engage Laura. This proved to be extremely useful and delivered just as we hoped it would. After an initial hour’s online consultation Laura then visited us and having taken all the measurements and necessary information she required we sat down with her to discuss potential options. This was so useful we were able to voice individually what we wanted to achieve and what we liked and disliked and she was able to tell us what was possible and make very useful suggestions. She then provided us with various options which made us focus on the cost/benefit of each of the possibilities. Most importantly we were quickly able to discount some then leaving us just a few to consider. Laura’s advice and knowledge gave us the ability to really think about how we would use spaces and what we would gain from the various options she came up with. Left with her initial designs we talked through the options and spoke to a builder. We had a final online session in which we explained to Laura we wanted to take some features from a few different designs and she then drew this up and sent it over to us. This for us was such a positive and useful experience, having spent years debating and not making any decisions our experience with Laura gave us the confidence to make the changes.Easy to recommend Laura without any hesitation.

My wife and I have been really happy with Laura at Pride Road. She is very professional and did a brilliant job with the plans for our extension, even when we kept changing our minds! We could not be happier with our home now and we couldn’t have done it without Laura’s help.

Laura was great, offering lots of suggestions that we would never have dreamt of. We were guided through every step which was great as we were complete novices.

Our home, which was in need of some modernisation, borders the New Forest. We decided we wanted to maximise the lovely views we have, which meant remodelling most of the house. Laura created an amazing design incorporating ideas we could never have imagined, which completely transformed our ‘tired’ house to benefit from the superb views. We now have the house of our dreams with a much more practical and pleasant design and outlook.The entire process went very well, and it was a pleasure working with Laura who dealt with all the intricacies of the planning process, and nothing was too much trouble for Laura, who was helpful and supportive in so many ways. We’re not planning to move anywhere, but if we did, we would definitely use Laura again!
