A must visit if in the area. The Applecross pass isn’t for the nervous driver but worth it if you’re confident. Fortunately the coastal road is an easy drive and provides the most beautiful scenery en route across to Skye and the Outer Hebrides. Stunning!Applecross staff are so welcoming and the food and drink is worth the journey. Good enough for Gerrard Butler! Enjoy!

We stayed at a nearby campsite and popped in for lunch and a drink. We were given a very warm welcome and seated straight away. Drinks very well priced and plenty to choose from. I was pleased to see one of my favourites on tap - Inches cider. My 3 kids had food from the kids menu which received no complaints. Great portion sizes and tasty. I had 1/2 pint of prawn tails which was lovely. The whole glass was full of tails so you get more than you expect. My husband had the monkfish and chips which he said was really nice. We all had puddings too. Plenty of options with the usual pub classics - choc cake, Eton mess etc but all very nice. All this was under £100! Very good value and great quality food. Staff very attentive and friendly. The pub was very busy but very well managed. A true hidden gem that won’t disappoint if you visit. Thank you Applecross Inn.

The inside is not really a pub but more of a restaurant. We were told we could only sit inside when eating. There is a great beer garden outside with an amazing view. Pint of their ale £5 and large glass of Malbec £10.10. We were luckily enough to see a stag munching on the hedge!

Wonderful pub in a remote section of Scotland. Wonderful views across the water. They get busy for food and seemingly will only allow drinkers outside when that's the case (which is fair enough, but wrap up warm). They have some covered outside tables. Staff were friendly and they have a few locally brewed beers. There was also a van serving fish and chips stationed next door to serve outdoor customers.

“Best fish & chips, ever” was my 81YO mum’s summation of her meal. And my wife’s wasn’t far from that.Great spot for a meal after an amazing drive over the pass. Excellent service from the knowledgeable staff. Everything was tasty and hearty with delicious local beer to compliment the meal.Book online to secure you’re spot.

We ate here on our first night in Applecross. They were packed, but were more than happy to accommodate us. The staff were amazing and super friendly. Each course was better than the last. We tried the Smoked salmon duo, the fish and chips and local ice cream and sticky toffee pudding.

Proper pub and inn in a magnificent location. Great food and brilliant drink selection. I recommend taking the high road to it, if weather and the season allow it. It is very much worth the effort and the inn will feel even more as a reward after the journey.
