Five-star accommodation very friendly owners just a pity about the weather but still had a lovely week and we'll return again

Lovely place to stay, lodge was nice but not the one advertised, very enjoyable stay

The lodge was not the one shown. It was OK. In need of tlc. Bit worn. Oven on cooker needs good clean. It smelt of dirty fat when lit. Lovely relaxing location

Good comfortable lodge for four of us. The hot tub is amazing. The lady who takes care of the resort is very nice and friendly. Location is a bit boring with not much entertainment but heavenly for a getaway. The road to get here is narrow and one of my tyres got nailed.

They have a long private drive along a hillside, which is a single road. Not for the faint hearted especially at night. A few people may be caught out badly there no passing space, so it's a long reverse for someone where the hedging almost touches both sides of your car, almost. Says WiFi but none working. Disclaimer on site saying signal is very poor / inadequate because rural area. I'm really disappointed not to get Netflix. Even a real struggle to get 4g on my phone on site, connection very, very faint. I'm not sure if every lodge is badly affected, but assume so given there's a note in the welcome pack. We only book with WiFi, so we feel properly cheated as we passed up many other sites better because they had stayed up front no WiFi.

We stayed in woodland lodge 4, which was one of only 6 or 7 lodges on the site. It is a lovely peaceful secluded spot (look out for the signs as you get close as we nearly missed the country lane leading to it!).Lodge itself was clean, spacious and well equiped for our 4 night stay, with the hot tub an added bonus.

We stayed in Coombes Lodge. Lodge itself was fab. Weather could have been better (there named storms in a weekend wasn't ideal but no reflection on the accomodation). Hot tub wasn't at temperature when we arrived so couldn't be used until the next morning, road to the site is not for the faint hearted, especially in the dark (single track, uneven gravel with no passing places) but would def go back.

Charlesworth Lodges are a small group of Lodges near Glossop. My partner and I stayed here in May and our lodge was quite possibly one of the nicest Lodges we have been to (we have tried quite a few) My only worry was the road down to the lodges was very narrow and I dreaded to meet a car on the way in and out. The hot tub was perfect, the bed comfy, the whole location was beautiful. Because it is only a small park it is lovely and peaceful. Had a lovely chilled time away, thank you Charlesworth Lodges! We hope to come back in the future.

Went here for a long weekend, location was great, lodge we stayed in was ok with one or two minor issues. The double bed was too uncomfortable to sleep in as you could feel the springs, so we had to sleep in the two singles, and the oven did not work.
