Purchased a van from Steve and the team and couldn’t be happier. After a horror story with another van from another dealer. Steve restored my faith in the trade and listened to what I wanted and offered solutions and also possibilities for the future. Will not be going anywhere else for future work.They put a full mot on and serviced the van. Polished it up perfect and cleaned out the interior. Never seen anything like it. Incredible work and very thankful

I was looking for a suitable van for a small camper and while browsing online came across Chequered Flag .Although it was a bit of a trek {I'm in Scotland} I liked the look of some of the vans on the website and checked out the many positive reviews they had so decided to make enquiries .After initial contact by message I spoke to Steve the owner on the phone and told him what I was looking for . He told me he had a suitable van in stock in his warehouse which was exactly what I was after . He sent lots of pictures , we also spoke by video call and he went round the van showing me in detail every aspect of the van .I asked Steve about getting windows fitted in the van and also insulating it which was no problem . The mechanics also did the timing chain as I requested . I did ask about getting a couple of other things done and changed my mind but didn't feel under pressure at any time as Steve left me to think about things and make my mind up in my own time.When the van was ready the wife and myself travelled down and Steve met us off the bus took us for a coffee then back to the garage . The van was spotless and everything I asked to be done was delivered , the boys in the garage were friendly and respectful to myself and my wife who felt at ease there , they chatted away as they worked about . Steve has a large warehouse there with loads of nice vans which he showed us round , I know where I'll be going if ever getting another one.We drove the van up to Scotland with no issues and looking forward to finishing it off for our camping trips in future.The multiple glowing reviews here are a true reflection of the service provided by Steve and his team .It's not often you come across one in the auto sales industry but Steve seems a genuinely good man and will go out of his way to make sure you're happy with your choice of van and that any and all your concerns are addressed . So I have no problem in recommending him and his team to anyone thinking of buying a vehicle from them .

Just picked up a cracking little one owner, low mileage Peugeot Partner van from Chequered Flag. Steve was great to talk to from start to finish. I originally phoned enquiring about a van that had been sold, but Steve said he was just about to pick up this little van.He told me all the details over the phone and sent me some pictures to see it. Within a couple of days, he had serviced and MOT's it ready for me to get the train across from Chester to pick it up.Craig even came to pick me up from the train station, and when i arrived at the garage, they were just finishing cleaning it inside. The van looked great and was in even better condition than i thought.I had a ittle problem paying on the day, as i forgot to bring my bank card reader to authorise the payment, and Steve lent me a car to drive into Leeds Centre to go to the local bank to make the payment.I would like to thank Steve, Craig and the rest of the Team at Chequered Flag. Top nice, honest guys. And if i need another van in the future, i know were i will be going.Thank you

I am not usually one to leave reviews. However, given the level of service and customer care received from Steve at Chequered flag, on this occasion it would have been unfair not to!We had been looking for a decent, fairly priced and clean van. We live in St Andrews in Scotland and there was absolutely nothing that suited our budget or criteria north of Newcastle. Then we came across Steve at Chequered flag. After a call explaining what we were seeking and a video tour of his available stock, we choose a Nissan Primastar, 56 plate &150K miles but clean and in great condition.After a service, valet and check over, change of Cam belt kit, water pump and with a fresh MOT and 3m parts & labour warranty - we were set. Train to Leeds, kindly picked up by Craig from station, and then my 280 mile trip back up to Scotland.The van never missed a beat. Delighted with our purchase and Steve's diligent personal communication. Restored my faith in the Motor trade.My only regret - I never met Steve in person. He was off to Australia the day before I came down to Leeds!

Bought a van from Steve at chequered flag . Great personal service from Start to finish and the van was immaculate when I went to pick it up. Been looking for a van when I came across chequered flag GB on the Internet so spoke with Steve who was very helpful invited us down to view a few vans. and got one right away which I’m very happy with. Steve was very helpful and professional at what he does. He even picked me up from the train station when collecting the Van.
