Horrible staff. Very rude and condescending. Didn't rent with them in the end. As one particular male staff member was very judgmental about someone he had never met. Avoid! In the end we found a much better house with a nice estate agent.

We engaged Venture Properties, Chester-le-Street, to value and market our property. They dealt with the whole exercise in a thoroughly professional manner and were prompt, efficient and courteous in answering any queries we had. We have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

Can only say good thinks about Venture Properties Chester-le-Street (Aidan ) house officially went up for sale at about 4pm within 30 mins had 3 viewings booked in.Viewed next day by first one offer made and accepted within 24 hours.Kept up to date by Aidan throughout sale by phone and email sale all done and dusted in couple of months.Only negative is you can download a dashboard which tells you steps of your sale and other info on progress which is brill idea however did get updated very much but in my case in didn't matter.Venture Properties quote for sale was cheaper than other companies in area that had sold property near mine would definitely use Aidan and Venture for future sales.

From initial valuation to posting to offer and sale agreement took less than two weeks. The viewings were all with genuine buyers, no time wasters.Unfortunately we experienced an extended period to final contract but that was down to issues with the chain. Venture kept on top of the process, and reported progress throughout.The service was first class.

Rental property was returned back to our care in an appalling state of neglect. The property, under a fully managed contract,was flagrantly mis-managed by the Venture Properties, Chester-le-Street Team, with only one inspection in 6+ years.

After having visits by virtually all of the estate agents in Chester-Le-Street we put our house up for sale with Venture. Lynne was extremely knowledgeable about the area and market so set some realistic expectations and didn't over inflate the valuation just to get the business.The situation was not straight forward as we had tenants in the property we were selling, and to be honest, they weren't the most accommodating when we requested and had viewings. Lynne and her team managed this extremely well for us.We needed to sell the house quickly, so we instructed Lynne to reduce the price after a month, this is something Lynne tried to persuade us not to do as the house was priced competitively in the first place, and it was the summer so not the greatest time to start selling a house. (as I said before we had had numerous valuations on the house from other estate agents so we knew what we could get for it) but it was going to start costing us money when we eventually got the tenants.The team at venture are very proactive, professional and caring, and provide an ear to listen to, as these things never go as straight forward as you think and is one of the most stressful things you can do!The whole marketing package was excellent and the virtual tours really do provide that first glimpse into the property before viewings. The team communicated well and acted with complete professionalism throughout the whole process.I would definitely recommend Venture, and if the situation arose in the future would definitely use them again.
