A great pub. The service was great from the bar staff. The food was good too. A great watering hole in one of the prettiest Yorkshire towns.

Fantastic pub in the village; good beers, cosy rooms with log fire and great atmosphere. Seemed well supported by locals which is a good sign!Toilets upstairs but clean and well-maintained

Perfect 'watering hole'. Very welcoming staff, it felt like they wanted to be there and us to be there. We only had one draft beer, so can't comment on the food. But they do serve meals that looked impressive when passing.Back to drinking, they do a Yorkshire Tapas, which is 3 thirds of some Marston's ales. Beautiful

Second time this year we have visited this lovely pub. Very welcoming staff..Great choice of beers and superb Sunday lunch cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and will visit again

Great pub in a lovely village. My wife and I have always been made to feel welcome in this pub and the staff have always been great, they also serve Erdinger non-alcoholic which is my preferred choice when driving. Each time we have eaten here the food has been excellent as well. It is our default pub when in the area, highly recommended.

Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch here. Such friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Our first visit but definitely not our last.
