rooms were alright but cheap (both cost and quality). Despite not mentioning it when booking, they apparently have a no cancellation policy . This being something they didnt mention until a few weeks after promising to refund a room for a person that wasnt able to attend.

Poor. Offered uncleaned room. Then another 4 before an acceptable one given breakfast lacked sausages as not arrived. Very noisy In rear rooms due to rail line.

OK space for up to 140 people. Nothing on the way of luxurious. The pendulum on the way to the bar is quite interesting for a few minutes. Nice, clean restrooms.

Manchester Conference Centre
Visited the conference centre for a university event. Its a really nice venue, but the staff are all rather sombre, polite but certainly not friendly. I'm not sure if this is what the hotel are aiming for but I would like to see smiles and hello's from the staff.

A well resourced Conference Centre in central Manchester with accomodation, meeting rooms and lecture theatres. The centre also has a restaurant serving a good variety of dishes. The multi storey car park nearby is a bargain at £2 after 4pm for central Manchester prices!

Attended a conference here with around 150 people. Screen and Microphone equipment was good, with IT staff on hand to assist presenters switching over. My only complaint would be, not enough legroom in the banked seating, but I am tall, so this may not affect others!

We chose this venue for our conference - and it was a great choice. The room layout is great with an area for food / tea / coffee and the internet connection was good for running ou stream.Thanks for your help on the day!
