The initial sales experience was great. Danny was very helpful and courteous. The follow up service was painful. Faults were reported and not fixed properly (we've since had the car inspected by a main dealership workshop), and the 'courtesy car' was in such a bad state that I wouldn't risk driving my kids in it. Honestly, it looked like it came from an auction for about 50p. I would be ashamed to hand someone the keys. I won't deal with them again due to the after sales experience. It's a shame because otherwise the car we bought is quite good, and it seems crazy that they risk ruining their reputation by skimping on after sales service. You will see as much from the other reviews on here. If you're considering buying an older car here, I would definitely recommend an independent inspection before parting with your hard earned cash.

If you're going to buy a car from here make sure you deal with Danny.Danny is 5/5 for service, attention and a great guy.My car has been back to cantilever for a few things now, issues that aren't cantilevers fault just to point out.One major problem I've had though is the air con on the car, it's been back a few times to be 'fixed', and sure enough every time I've driven away it has been working, but like I say it's been back around 3 times for this after I tell them what it's doing, and it's still not fully resolved, car is now out of warranty and I'll have to look to take the car to an air con specialist to have it properly fixed. I'd have happily given 5/5 if I felt like I was given a proper resolution on this from the off.Again let me point out that Danny at cantilever is the one you should deal with, as he is the one that genuinely cares when you call up and speak to him on the phone.

Brought my sicrocco of these guys a few weeks ago now and I'm absolutely in love! The car came out looking brand new both inside and out and drives a dream. This is how a dealership should be! No pushy salesmen just top people who want to sell quality used cars. Alf was great but when I couldn't get hold of him and spoke to the other guys they was just as helpful! Kept me updated on the car and made sure it went out the place in the best condition and value for money it could be. Look forward to using you guys again when it comes to a new car.... That's if I'll ever sell this Rocco

Picked my car up today. Danny is an absolute gem, he is very friendly and easy going. Doesn't pressure you when you are looking at the cars he just leaves you to it. Had a great experience will definitely buy from Cantilever again :) Thank you for all the work you did on my first car it looks fabulous :D

Spotted a little Renault Twingo with low miles on Autotrader that fitted what I needed so had a chat with Danny at Cantilever Car Centre in Warrington. He took care of everything for me and in double quick time to meet a deadline that I had meaning I needed the car quite urgently.Danny ensured everything that we discussed was carried out on the car prior to collection and called me with an update and collection time as he had promised to do. It was fully valeted and spotless when I went to collect.All in all a great buying experience and I feel Danny excelled himself on the customer service aspect so a big thanks to him. Oh and the car is great too ! Highly recommend Cantilever Car Centre and if your experience follows mine then you won’t be disappointed.

Not great.We baught a car back in April, after picking it up, we drove it directly to Wales for the weekend. It was obvious the wheel bearing had gone, we called them up and to be fair, no problem it was fixed. I left the car with them, but it was for a few days, so really struggled.Then came the mini heatwave we had. I noticed the air conditioning wasn't working. I couldn't do without the car, so took it to a local garage and had the gas re filled. That lasted a week. Waited a few weeks for an appointment at a garage, who quoted me £400 to fix, so contracted cantilever and was advised they would fix, along with a few other things, like the rear seatbelt which was broken and noisy top mount. I explained I would need a courtesy car, which they said they could provide but would need to wait for it to come back in. A week later I left the car with them. The courtesy car was shocking, not fit for purpose at all ( see pictures) I couldn't let the kids sit in the back, because the seats are so broken!!I collected my car four days later and the seatbelt was fixed and air conditioning was also working, great news!! Fast forward a month. The air-conditioning stopped working again and the creaking noise is even louder. On inspection, they appear to have fixed" the issue on the air-conditioning pipes with some sealant and all the gas has leaked out again.I have lost all faith that cantilever will actually repair anything correctly

I haven’t needed a car for almost 15 years so going for a new car can be quite daunting. This was not the case here. I spoke to Danny and Paul who sold me the new car from here and they have both been excellent. I’ve mainly dealt with Paul who has been nothing but helpful and gone above and beyond what I expected. Everything Paul said he would do he has done and more!. Very good customer care who actually cares about customers not just the car they sell you. I couldn’t have asked for a better service or help when I needed it. So a big thank you to Danny and Paul. I would definitely buy from here again in the future and recommend anyone to buy a car from here. Thanks for everything. The car (Toyota Auris - Red) is amazing I love it.

I bought a Mazda CX5 from Paul on the 26th of August. As we live in the Highlands I bought it 'blind' as Paul assured me that my deposit would be returned if the car was not 'as promised'. Well the car was everything they said it was going to be and after 1 month including towing our caravan on holiday I feel it is time to put a 5 star review on their site. bought a lovely little run around( fiat 500 ) for my wife from this garage ,great quality cars and really easy going ,non pushy sales ,a nice easy smooth transition from getting finance approved to picking car up with service and MOT to boot , we did have a problem with the car not starting which turned out to be the battery ,not a problem i rang the garage and they came out following morning and replaced it .nice one cheers ,will definitely recommend
