A friendly and welcoming, mixed ability life drawing art group.

I've modelled for Life Drawing EB a number of times. There are usually quite a few artists that attend and I'm always made to feel very welcome. The venue is a good size and has adequate heating which is important for modelling.The group has a mix of skill levels with plenty of positive encouragement and a range of equipment for people wanting to try a different medium. Poses range from short 1 minute warm ups to around 20 minutes, sometimes with some suggestions from the artists if they are looking for something specific.Whether you're interested in giving modelling a go for the 1st time or if you've done it before, I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with them. Similarly, if you're someone just starting out with drawing or want to get back into it, pop along to the friendliest and warmest life drawing groups.

Laura is great and the group is so chilled. I'm not an artist by any means but really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at these sessions. Give it a go, I'd say.

Just over a year ago I went along to this life drawing class not knowing whether it was for me. I was a new artist and nervous that I wouldn't be 'good' enough or would be looked down on. I really needn't have worried. Right from the beginning I was welcomed, encouraged and made to feel part of this friendly and supportive group. Laura who runs it is full of enthusiasm and always keeps it fresh with some great and original ideas.I have now produced a lot of art I'm proud of, I love going to this class and would thoroughly recommend it to all.
