The blues band were fantastic (Stony Road). Great real ale as usual. The only downside was the cold draught when the doors were open

At last a pub in Wickford! If you have visited before the new owners, please try again the difference is enormous. Friendly staff, fast service. Only negative for me is the beer selection could be better. We now have a pub and a tap room 2 places to drink, yes we only have 2 places where you would want to drink!

Haven’t been in this pub for many many years. It looks and feels nothing like the old Swan which is a good thing. Looking forward to spending more and more nights in the new white Swan.

Well the good news is this place has reopened, the bad news is it does not accept cash which is a whopping great minus. If this was a chain pub i would simply boycot it, as it is im in no hurry to return. If nothing else you are going to pay more for the use of the card readers but to be fair, £4.50 for a fosters is fair enough. If i accept no cash establishments one day some bright spark will be doing mobiles only or hay, crypto only. Pool table has gone which is not a plus. Two slot machines are available but laughably are cash only, the jukebox is/ can be contactless. Toilets as you would expect for a refurb are spotless. A begrudging 3 stars, a chain pub would get 1/2.

If you like football and happen to be a West Ham fan then this is the place for you. If you are not both of the previous then this maybe is not the place for you. Shame really as the place now has a nice bright decor and friendly staff.

What a transformation, bright airy and spacious, friendly staff and a fully stocked bar with all your favourite tipples , great selection of lagers on tap, well done to the staff and management. Well worth a visit, just what Wickford needs...

Never been in here before. But it had the look of someone had some paint left over and gave the place a lick or two. I don’t live near Wickford so probably never go back.

Went to the white swan after the refurbishment oh what a difference. The new management Ellis and Selina were so friendly. Will definitely recommend to friends.
