Paddleboard and kayak launch from the moorings was easy. The pub next to it serves good food. Parking might be limited on a good weather day. There are toilets nearby. A good place for a weekend family picnic and watersports.

This one star review is not directed at the actual picnic site but more Euro Car Parks. My wife sought refuge here after hitting a pot hole, resulting in a flat.Slightly shaken up by the event and wanting to be off the dangerous country road whilst the tyre was changed we didn't take any notice of the parking ticket system as it looked like a normal pay and display, ANPR wasn't obvious on entry. We were only there for around 40 mins purely for changing a tyre.We later received a parking fine for said event, we appealed and lost. This was still considered using the facilities". Yes

We've been here a few times in recent years. It's not all that big but it's clean and tidy. Lovely setting by the river. There's a pub nearby too. A kiosk in the picnic area serves warm food and drinks. There's seating around it as well. Ample parking spaces most days except during busier times of year like during summer. Public toilets too. There's an area for renting canoes. Picnic tables dotted throughout. Good walk around for stretching the legs and for taking the dog out too. Children's play area is a good size.

The parking is cheap at £2 for the day so well worth that, the Mobil food truck in there is very nice food is great and reasonable prices. Came here to sup, they have a good walk way to lead down the river to a pontoon to get on and off the board. Very quiet and peaceful.

It's lovely here for paddleboarding. They have a changing area for paddleboarders etc, a buger type van, toilets, kids play area and the river is lovely for a paddle. £2 for weekdays and £3 for weekends.

Great place to launch canoes and kayaks. Very cheap all day parking. Upriver 5 miles to Fordwich, and maybe 3 down to Plucks gutter.

Great for paddle boarders, parking is only £2 all day and nice food van for lunch, snacks and drinks, better than your average van.
