Best Sushi/Japanese in the area by a million miles and I've tried the main 3 on a number of occasions. This place tastes the best but is also somehow the cheapest. Go figure. On certain days you have to wait an hour to get your food, so I recommend ordering ahead of time on the phone or online. There are queues outside on busy days for a reason. Highly recommended.

Amazing customer service, everyone is so lovely and accommodating and smiley - especially since we came in close to closing time! Lovely broad vegetarian/vegan options and very clean! The whole place looks modern - there’s a reason why this place is so busy! Can’t wait to come back!

Best sushi and buns in London! Super authentic Japanese food, great price point and the quality is excellent every time (the Spicy Chicken Karaage buns are a must-have!). They also have great vegetarian options like the Veggie Katsu curry. The service is excellent and they are always very welcoming. They often will have the food ready ahead of the collection time on a week day and will call to let you know you can pick it up. On weekends it can sometimes get a little busy so there are longer waiting times, but it's always worth it! Would highly recommend if you are in the Essex area.

This used to be our favourite place to eat. The best buns ever, wonderful ingredients, so well prepared and beautiful every time…. However we ordered through Uber eats recently and it was almost inedible, so much sauce in the buns it was a disaster. We couldn't taste any of the fillings (soft shell crab / chicken) they were swamped in sauce and quite badly seasoned.Something must have changed, the lady who used to run Sakura was impeccable and the food was always perfect. Our last experience was so far from this it feels like there’s no way it’s the same team. Such a shame as it was in our top places to eat.

Amazing Japanese Dishes, so many choices for both veg and non veg. I've only had the veg dishes and I can say that each one was so tasty and would highly recommend their Bai buns, gayozas, sushi...list is endless. Definitely worth a try if you haven't and looking for quality food. You get free snacks while you wait for your collection. Great customer service...amazing chefs.

Honestly our absolute favourite takeaway! It needs 10 stars. The Chicken Karrage buns are too good. The staff are so lovely and friendly. We are so sad to move away from the area for a while, and will definitely be stopping by whenever we pass south Woodford.Thanks for all the amazing food! James & Darcey

I use to love this place. There miso was out of the world and food taste was on point. I finally see them on uber , ordered and everything is over salted. Just pure salt and not taste. What happened ? Did the owner change? I remember the owner was a lady that strict rules and never allowed for quality to slip
