Super clean and omg very quick no wait time at all, just straight in.I went the first day of the junior doctors strike for 35%pay rise, which is what they deserve 100%.Super nice staff and amazingly clean.Free parking for blue badge holders. They have security patrolling the car park so be careful parking !

I went to A&E yesterday. I was in excruciating pain. I was nauseous and doubled over. I was in tears as I had never experienced so much pain (I have broken bones and dislocated my knee before and this was much, much worse).I was told I would need to wait 3 hours. My husband asked if I could get pain killers or anything to help. Reception replied with ’your wife is still able to walk and there is nothing we can do sooner’. Well. I left to go to another clinic. I should not have expected to be treated like a human

I want to say a big thank you to Zionna (Midwife) for her assistance on Saturday 9th Dec 2023.She made several phone calls in order to help my wife who was worried about some ingredients in her medication. She truly was outstanding and deserves to be recognised.

What a shambles of a hospital this is. I spent over 7 hours in A&E after collapsing in the morning following a spike in temperature, nausea, disorientation and pain in my stomach and whilst urinating. They diagnosed a panic attack and said they couldn't find anything!I saw my own gp yesterday who immediately found blood in my urine and said my symptoms were text book for kidney infection and that she was shocked something so easy to diagnose was missed! Avoid this hospital at all costs.

This is regarding the place and not the staff. Nearly 10 hours in A&E, with a 76 year old, left at 6am after sitting on metal chairs all night, this included the patient. who came in with a bleed, thank god it stopped. The place was disgusting, the toilets were filthy. A flood in the disabled toilets was not cleaned up, there was a domestic member of staff just outside the toilet area, using a brush on the corridor, it didnt get cleaned up. The toilet was in the same state 5 hours after I first saw it. When we were moved into the second waiting area, there was sick on a chair and it was there for hours. The hospital management need to hang their heads in shame. I noticed more money being spent on another new building/ extension but they staff their A&E with just 3 doctors on a Saturday evening. I was informed of this by two members of staff. The staff had to contend with many trauma cases being brought in throughout the night, violent patients brought in escorted by police, there were many, an urgent care centre on site, many elderly patients had to wait 9 hours or more in A&E in tertible conditions. This is totally unacceptable, particularlyas there is nowhere for them to sit in relative comfort ( 9 hours throughout the night on a metal chair is unacceptable for a 70+ person. It's a disgrace. If you can't keep the areas you already have clean, goodness only knows what will happen in the future, when more extentions are added. The department was woefully understaffed except for the police force, there was more police than medics. One security guard was sat asleep at his desk whilst homeless people took shelter in the A&E area, taking up seats that were needed by patients. Medical staff and admins worked hard but they need more colleagues to assist them.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Manchester Royal Infirmary Audiology for a hearing-related concern, and I must say that my experience was exceptionally positive. My audiologist, Becki Gladdis, played a crucial role in making the visit comfortable and informative. From the outset, Becki exhibited a high level of professionalism and kindness. She took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and thoroughly explained the various options available to address my hearing issue. Her expertise and knowledge were evident, providing me with a clear understanding of the potential solutions. One standout quality of Becki was her patience. She never rushed through the consultation, ensuring that I had the opportunity to ask questions and express any uncertainties. This made me feel valued as a patient, and I left the clinic with a sense of confidence in the recommended course of action. The audiology test conducted by Becki was comprehensive and well-executed. Her attention to detail was commendable, and she created a supportive environment throughout the testing process. It was evident that she prioritized accuracy in her assessments, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the consultation.Additionally, I encountered another audiologist, Amy, who was in the process of training. Despite being in the early stages of her career, Amy demonstrated a commitment to learning and displayed a genuine interest in providing quality care. This collaborative approach between experienced professionals and those in training further enhanced the overall positive atmosphere of the clinic. In conclusion, my visit to Manchester Royal Infirmary Audiology was a notably pleasant experience. Becki Gladdis and the team, including the dedicated trainee Amy, contributed to a welcoming and supportive environment. I left the clinic well-informed, confident in the provided options, and grateful for the compassionate care I received. Highly recommended for anyone seeking professional and personable audiology services.

On the 5/12/23 I attended the MRI centre, in the purple zone on the first floor, there was very little waiting around, first was blood pressure, height and weight, then ECG, then consultation with the doctor, every staff member was very efficient and treated me with respect and pleasantness, and all had very good manners. I have got to give praise when it is due, please take a bow all the staff on the MRI scan purple zone, Thank you for being nice to every person that had an appointment.

Facilities - PoorNursing - GreatDoctors - Good/BadConsultants - BadSpecialists - Very BadThe overall problem is the hospital needs upgrading alot, the state of their internet that the entire hospital operates on is total trash. Fire the entire IT staff and replace them with teenagers it would run better at this point I saw a man working on the internet and all of the ethernet cables im talking hundreds were cramed into the wall like straw.Nursing shift pattern needs to change they cannot function for 12 hours they need to be 8 hours max. Also if they cant speak English they cannot be a uk nurse sorry but its a serious job I saw someone almost die cas they could not read morphine amounts. The doctors are either amazing caring people or heartless robots and you will meet both due to them never being around long. We really need to rid the place of doctors just there for the prestige and money. The reason people are going straight back to hospital are these fools sending people home early with no clue of why they got ill in the first place. Theyre the ones blaming everything on anxeity its lazy doctor work dont stand for it.Consultants are ever worse they seem very detached from the human beings maybe because they are already rich enough not to care anymore I dont know. They show very little intrest in getting to the root of the problem just how do we effiently get rid of as many patients so the beds free up.My god the specialist are god awful which is scary, the gastro team are the most clueless people I have ever met. One person had no clue what the microbiome was. I met a diet lady that told me to eat anything wow great advice. What are they learning in there years of uni im genuinely asking because I have no clue. Our medical education is decades behind other countries we only know how to stabilize people not make them healthy. Lastly the food is the same food served in prison utterly disgusting and made every single person in my ward have diahreea, how is this healthcare...

not my first time being here, and sadly probably won’t be my last. the paramedics were lovely to my boyfriend, as was the doctor we finally saw. however, the emergency department nurses are vile. my boyfriend had hit his head and kept falling in and out of consciousness, so i was obviously worried and i asked twice for paracetemol (which he was allowed) and when he would be seen as i was growing increasingly worried and couldn’t keep him awake. the lack of sympathy from the nurses was honestly disgusting and whilst i understand and empathise that the nhs is understaffed and under a lot of pressure, everytime i come here (we were brought in ambulance) the nurses are beyond rude to us. it is not a way in which you should treat people who are visibly upset and in pain. i saw an older man in a bed moaning and groaning and basically screaming- he was very confused and in a lot of pain. he needed someone to look after him and at least keep him company- he was completely alone and it really made me upset that there was a complete lack of empathy. whilst my boyfriend had hit his head when drunk, drunk people can hurt themselves and this shouldn’t have made anyone feel less empathy towards him. makes me wonder how the nurses would treat victims of spiking- we have all been drunk before and kindness can go a long way, as well as just a smile. honestly this trip to emergency department really broke my heart, not to mention the lack of water and painkillers provided to other very sick people.

I came to Manchester Royal Infirmary to deliver some items and on my way to the department I had a severe heart attack. Then people who had no emergency training called for an ambulance and gave me the necessary help over the phone until the ambulance arrived. I was then taken to the ACC where I received gentle and attentive care and had at least 5 people by my side all the way until a Stent was installed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to this medical staff at ACC and I'm sorry I can't name everyone because English is not my first language and it's hard for me to remember people's names. The NHS is the best, many thanks to the staff at ACC.
